Very nice restaurant. I've tried a bruscetta with artichoke spread - amazing - as well as the pasta carbonara. The food was excellent and the wine too. But the best part was the ambiance. The waiters are very friendly and warm and you spend a very good moment with them. We must have made a very good impression on the owner because he kept on offering us drinks on the house! We spent an amazing time!

If you're in the Piazza Navona area, don't eat anywhere else (many restaurant staff are outside trying to entice you inside, this one is different). There are at least 3 rooms in this little trattoria, which gives it a 'TARDIS' impression. The service is very good and friendly and the food we had was excellent. My wife and I called in for a lunchtime snack before we had a long look around the Piazza, so we decided to have a salad and a drink. NOTE: if you order a salad here, it's worth sharing - see the photograph.

Excellent Italian food, good service, great location. I had mussel linguini with hard cheese sauce, which was a special that day, and the house white wine was delicious. I can recommend!

It was average. Not bad but not really good. The pizza was OK. The place itself is OK too. Nothing special worthwhile noting. So, if you are in the neighborhood and must grab something, this place is as good as any other average establishment.

This was our first meal in Rome after checking into the hotel and exploring our surroundings. We had walked for hours and were tired, but we are also picky eaters so we needed to find a place that suited all of our tastes (we had 4 mouths to feed).

We stumbled upon Trattoria Gino e Pietro by chance, and it did not disappoint! The space itself was small/quaint and down a small alley off the main street. At this time of evening (around 6pm, I believe), it was pretty quiet with maybe 1 or 2 tables occupied. The food was great - we had lots of wine, sea bream, more wine, gnocchi and risotto, and it was all molto buonisimo :)

I should also mention that the owners were very nice and accommodating - this only added to the experience and was a nice end to a pleasant first day in Rome. Grazie!
