“Third great experience”
Reviewed 25 June 2014 via mobile

This is our third stay and we came with good friends. We were given upgraded rooms with superb facilities. The main asset of this hotel is the friendliness and helpfulness of the receptionists. The location is stunning.

We loved everything about this hotel. It was so much fun to step out the front door into the Pantheon square. We could walk or take a 10 minute cab or bus ride to get to most sights. We enjoyed having drinks on the rooftop terrace overlooking the square. There were plenty of cafes tucked into side street niches nearby to get a meal.
At first, we had asked for a room up front with a view of the square, but those were all booked. We ended up being glad to have a back room because it was completely quiet and we slept very well. The bed was supremely comfortable, the water pressure for the shower was excellent, and the room was lovely. The hotel staff were very welcoming and happy to answer all our questions. The breakfast was very good also. If you're flying in, ask the hotel to send a driver to pick you up. We were there with our 10-year-old daughter and it worked fine to have a cot set up in our room for her. We would gladly stay there again.

Room Tip: Our room did not overlook the square, but was very quiet.

We stayed here twice during our travels through Italy and I can't wait to stay here again! They have it right: Clean rooms with the right ammenities in the best location, the best staff, the best views from the rooms as well as the roof top bar. We were in "the balcony room" Hello Pantheon and non-stop people watching! Walk upstairs and Hello drinks on the rooftop bar before dinner each night ~ why not start each evening with a cocktail and 360 degree views and sunset?! This hotel is centrally located so you can easily walk to every destination on your list. And best of all: Hello friendliest staff ever! Each member of this lovely staff made us feel so welcome & right at home with their warm, friendly & fun reception! Management, concierege, doorman, housekeeping, bartenders, please, keep doing what you're doing, it's working!

Spent a couple of nights here last week and would return here without hesitation.
The location is probably the best as the Pantheon is the epicentre of Rome. Walking back to the hotel and having a drink on the terrace was wonderful...view to take you breathe away..Pantheon in front of you, St Paul's Basilica and Piazzo Navona in the background, in fact a perfect 360 view of Rome.
The room was clean and a good size with a nice bathroom. We had a side room with partial view as we only booked a few days before arrival but still great.
Breakfast was good, plenty on offer and service with a smile goes a long way. The staff who have been mentioned in other reviews were extremely helpful and happy to help in any request.
ate at 2 restaurants within a stone's throw, La Fortunata al Pantheon and La Rosetta, both highlights of our stay with great views of the Pantheon if dining outside.
Great base, great hotel...would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room Tip: book tickets in advance if you can for the Colosseum...saves a heap

During our two week honeymoon in Italy and Croatia, my husband and I mostly stayed in B&Bs and apartments, both because we like the smaller more personalized approach and because they tend to be a better value. But for our final night in Rome before flying home, we decided to try and find a more luxurious, relaxing hotel experience. Albergo del Senato was everything we wanted and more. Gorgeous hotel right next to the Pantheon, with beautifully appointed rooms and top-notch service. There is a roof top bar open in the evenings. Sitting up there with a glass of prosecco, some olives and that view--well, it was just the perfect end to our trip.

A long weekend in Rome staying at this hotel was just magical. Clean spacious room facing Pantheon square beautiful view that takes your breath away every morning. Staff very friendly & attentive 24 hr service. Breakfast continental but you will not be disappointed with the variety on offer. Best location to see all the sights nearby & lots of shops & cobbled streets on yr doorstep to explore. Restaurants are plentiful in this area to chill & relax after a long exploring day. The position of this hotel is just awsome with its rooftop bar it takes your breath away x

We stayed here on both ends of our trip to Tuscany. It exceeded our expectations! We got balcony rooms and we were blown away with the view of the Pantheon that we had. At twilight, the musicians could be heard from the Pantheon piazza. One night, there was an opera singer standing beneath the columns, and it seemed as though the entire piazza of tourists went silent, just to listen to her!

The rooftop terrace bar offers the most spectacular panoramic vista imaginable. At sunset, it takes your breath away. The bartender, Michele, was terrific. And he sure knows how to make a great martini!

The breakfast was wonderful too. The food was plentiful and the staff (unfortunately I never got either of their names) were efficient and personable. Every morning they greeted us with a smile...and immediate pots of the BEST coffee!

And finally, saving the best for last...the incredible staff at the front dest. Allessandra, Luca, Mauro and Piero. Their warm welcome...expert guidance on directions...suggestions for restaurants...checking train schedules for us one morning when a strike was underway (thank you Allessandra!) and overall customer service to every single guest, is unmatched. They are always smiling! ...and are all such a beautiful reflection of this hotel. And because of that, we will be back!

P.S. We had to check out at 5 am to catch our flight home. Mauro was at the front desk, and knew we were sad to leave. As we were ready to get into the taxi, he ran outside and asked if we wanted him to take our photo in front of the Pantheon. Now THAT'S customer service! It was the best photo we have! No people in the background! Just the Pantheon and us! Thank you Mauro!
