“This is ROME”
Reviewed 30 April 2012

This place never closes! It doesn't matter what time of the day you arrive, it is one of the most beautiful outdoor spaces I have ever had the privilege of being. To marvel at the Collosseum or the Roman forum or any of the other ruins it is treat. There are so many museums to visit, the Risorgimento was holding a Dali exhibition while I visited and it was fantstic. It's so fascinating to see how the centro storico has survived. My favourite place in Rome!

“A must see.”
Reviewed 30 April 2012

Amazing! I was awestruck by the scale. There is so much to see. You need days to cover everything. When you consider the history of the place it leaves you speechless.

“walk or take an open air tour bus”
Reviewed 30 April 2012

The center of Rome is a jewl.
Take a comfortable pair of shoes and walk...Its the best way to live it !
Alternatively, take on of the open air buses and visit the best of the monuments.
Try to visit Capidoglio with the afternoon sunlight...

“Even a gentle stroll will reap dividends”
Reviewed 29 April 2012

No need to bother with guideed tours and the like, just stroll about at your own pace and marvel at the wonders unfolding at every turn. The richness of history and style is astounding.
