The Colosseum was on a walking tour. It’s a marvel or engineering and history. It’s amazing to see where the gladiators fought to the death. We only toured the first floor of the arena and spent about 45 minutes there with our guide.

If you have mobility issues, there is a texture that is more difficult than the cobblestones around Rome to walk on at the Colosseum.

12 euros ain't bad a price....but you can easily walk round in 30 mins and see everything.....Palatine hill and the forum are much much better value

I recommend you have a guide or get head sets. Include the Forum with a guide and have dinner or lunch in Jewish quarter. We used City Wonder for the tour . they were great.

This was definitely a must do for us during our day in Rome! We bought a ticket for a specific time and literally walked right in. I was expecting a long wait after reading reviews but that was not the case for us. This is an amazing piece of history and I’m glad we were able to see it.

Booked Colosseum/Forum skip the line passes, printed the voucher as instructed only to receive a conflicting email stating a new meeting place and time (945 for a 10 tour.) Arrived as instructed only to wait until 1030 for the guide to arrive. Tried the phone number provided as well as Viator’s customer service to no answer. The tour did not skip any lines; ironically the entry to the Forum had no line to purchase a ticket and ~100 ppl for pre-purchased groups. Similar confusion at the colosseum as our guide/group was re-directed twice while attempting entry. The ENTIRE POINT of paying money for this service was to avoid precisely what we encountered. Save your money and book with any other tour group or simply do it live on your own.
