This hotel is gorgeous, and incredibly clean.Checking in can was hard as there is no way to just walk into the hotel and the instructions on getting there are rough. After we finally found the placket thanks to some helpful neighbors, we came to a locked door with no check in desk in sight. There was a sign that said to call to check in and of course our phones do. to work. We tried a button that looked like a buzzer, but no one answered. I finally found a store around the block and used their phone. After check in our stay was amazing! The receptionist showed us to our room and told us about all the features and busses to take into town. Overall we loved our stay, but wish it had been easier to get it started!

Room Tip: We booked on expedia.

My boyfriend and I went to Rome for our anniversary and we booked this place based on the trip advisor reviews and I am glad we chose to stay here!! The rooms are amazing and clean! The rooms are apartment style with a couch, kitchenette with enough silver wear and cooking utensils and dishes to feed 20 people, private bathroom and plenty of closet space The staff is great and go above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. You do have to ask for shampoo and conditioner at the desk and it's about 25min to get to the center of Rome but it's worth it! It's peaceful and quiet and there is a great restaurant nearby called La Silviana which has amazing authentic Italian food! Overall we loved this place and will be staying there again the next time we are in Rome! I would recommend the Patrizia Romana Palace to anyone traveling to Rome!

Once we worked out how to get into the hotel we found a welcoming staff member and a delightful room with all the mod cons. The room was beautifully clean and a welcome haven after walking around the streets of Rome each day. The staff speak good English and are very obliging.
The hotel is about 30 min outside of Rome by public transport but sometimes the connections, especially in the middle of the day, made the trip longer. We used the 228 or 774 buses from Portuense Forlanini and then caught the No 8 tram from Trastevere station to the centre of Rome. We also caught the 719 bus to Ostiense train station and caught the train out to Lido Ostia and spent a great day at the beach. We found the most economical way to travel on bus, tram and trains was to get a weekly ticket for $24 Euro which allowed us to travel everywhere in Rome on the one ticket. Just remember to validate your ticket on your first journey. The train from Ostiense to Fiumicino Airport was 8 Euro and took 30 min, much cheaper than taxi!
Local shops and restaurants were conveniently located but also recommend eating in Argentine area around Belli bus stop.
All in all great accommodation that quickly allowed us the opportunity to develop our navigation skills of Rome.

Wow, Patrizia Romana Palace is heaven. Excellent value for money. For the same price in the centre of Rome we would have had to share a bathroom which was unacceptable.

After a month in Europe this is by far the best accommodation we've enjoyed.

It's spacious, modern, beautiful and peaceful. The service is wonderful and exceeds expectations.

It is in the middle of nowhere so thank goodness they have all the information available and even the tickets (1.5 Euros) to get the bus and tram into the city. We were unlucky with timings on our first day trip and it took 2.5 hours to get to the Vatican but on our 2nd day it took just an hour before we were right outside the Colosseum. It was just 8 Euro to get a taxi from Osteria train station. Airport transfers are 50 Euro.

After full days walking around Rome we were quite worn out and wanted a night in. There are 600+ tv stations and we could only find one in English so we used the high speed wifi to watch movies on ipad.

We arrived from the US early (10 AM) and they were able to get us in our room right away which was nice after 12 hours on the plane. The room was beautiful and the staff was wonderful. The gentleman behind the desk spoke good english and was able to direct help us with bus/tram routes to the city center, which is probably 20 - 30 minutes away. We had a room on the street side but were not bothered by traffic in the least. There is a small store about a block away where we picked up necessities like shampoo and paper goods. There were other little shops easily within walking distance where were we were able to get fruit and other things. There was a small kitchen and refrigerator that were quite adequate. It was quite warm a few days that we were there and the A/C worked well and quietly. The shower was a rainfall shower head that was very nice.
The service was great. They arranged transport for us to and from the FCO airport (50 euro each way) which was nice. I would not advise driving in Rome if you are not used to it.
All in all we had a great stay here. I would highly recommend it.

We arrived at the hotel early and were able to check in straight away. The lady that served us kept apologising for not being able to speak good english but she was extremely helpful and had no need to apologise. Our room was clean and spacious with everything we could possibly need. We were on the front of the property with a balcony onto the street but the walls were high enough that it didn't matter and it was nice to sit out in the evening or before we left for the day. We were able to use the garage for our hire car which was very safe. The courtyard at the centre of the hotel - although we did not sit out there - was really lovely and a nice quiet spot. Really close to the centre of Rome - just a bus and tram journey, maybe about 20 minutes. Would definitely stay here again if we were to return to Rome.

I am writing from Australia.

My Boyfriend Mike and I were guests at Patrzia Romana Palace last year in July. I just wanted to express my appreciation for their amazing service.

We arrived early for check in and they went out of their way to let us go into the room within a half an hour of arriving. Another example of their service that was above and beyond is that there was a strike for public transport on the day we needed to leave Rome. The man at the front desk organised the owner himself (on his day off) to drive us to the train station with no complaints and free of charge. Not to mention the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, quiet and well equipt.

We are dying to come back to Rome and would never consider staying anywhere else. People need to know how good the people Patizia Romana Palace are! Go there, you will not be let down.

Room Tip: This place is a great place to stay, it is a little tram ride away from the city centre, we saw this...
