“Very dissapointed”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 May 2014 via mobile

The food is a joke, you can make better pasta at home, the bruschete was pre-made, the salad had nothing but romaine salad and 2 cherry tomatos...nothing else, not even olive oil...the soup was extremely spicy even though we said if was for a kid...and the ox stew had 3 huge bones with a shadow if meat on them. The service was bad and we felt rushed and when the check came that was the cherry on top ... The tip is mandatory and they include it on the check...very dissapointed!

We are sorry for the bad evening spent at our restaurant. Let me, however, to point out that: the bruschetta are not made before but at the moment with sourdough bread and sauces craft of Puglia. The pasta is extruded through a bronze and is one of the best artisan pasta makers in Italy. We do not want to cook anything extraordinary, but simple things with extraordinary ingredients, but we can not expect everyone to share these choices. Oxtail recipe is very famous and ancient in rome, and is not a beef stew, but a recipe oxtail that has very little meat with a very long and complicated cooking the Romans know this and do not choose the tail for the amount of meat but the taste with special and secrets ingredients. Finally we are sorry for the service. In Italy it is still perfectly legal, and I remember that in the civilized new york, service required is 20%, but in spite of all, the salaries to the waiters are not always guaranteed, in our tavern this never happens so the waiters at the end of the day have salaries and tip to share. Agian sorry for your terrible dinner

“Great neighborhood place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 May 2014

The food was incredibly fresh, and the waitress spoke English. The staff was enthusiastic about the place, and proud of their food. On the downside, service was quite slow, even by Italian standards.

“Good Food & Good Value”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 May 2014

This is my third time in 10 years to visit this restaurant and it never fails delighted to say the food is just as good as on my first visit. The food is wholesome, freshly prepared and so tasty. Keep up the good work.

Great food for very reasonable prices. Be on time, around 20.00, after that there will be s waiting line. But worth the wait!

“Good food! Service could have been better”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 April 2014 via mobile

We went there early in the evening and got there just after the restaurant opened. We hot a table but the place filled quickly and during the time we stayed there they sent several people away because they were already full. So i would recommend to place a reservation. The food was very delicious. There is nothing to complain about it. However we felt under preassure from the waitress to decide and eat quickly so they could give our table to another person. That was really a pitty.
But all in all we would recommend this place.

Thank Sabrina S
