Very neat, clean and cosy small B&B more looking like a hotel hidden in an apartment building. Francesko was very helpful and gave all the necessary information. A breakfast / evening aperitivo bar open from 6 am is just around the corner. Good bus connections, subway is not far either.

B&B Cupido is a lovely place,
the location is good, nearby metro station and very convenient,
you can almost buy everything you need in that area.

Evelina is kindly to help me,
it's a ideal choice for me to stay.

A friend and I stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of May and it was really lovely! I loved the location, just a 5 minute walk from the Bologna metro stop, it's in a local neighborhood without the overwhelming tourist kitsch. There's several restaurants and bakeries around as well as some very good gelateria's that had the cheapest and maybe the best we ate in Italy. We ate at Il Tunnel which was recommened by Franceso and it was one of the best meals we had in Italy and very resonably priced.

Francesco and his girlfriend were really great in responding to our needs and the apartment was quiet! Definitely the quietest place we stayed while in Italy. There's absolutely no reason not to stay here!

The cab ride is a bit expensive, but it's the standard price to any place inside the ring (city center). It's honestly very easy to get to via train so if you can get to the Bologna metro stop cheaper than 48 euros and you don't mind a short walk with whatever luggage you have, definitely do it! Just leave the Bologna piazza towards Via Ravenna (there are maps on the walls of the metro to tell you which streets are what direction) and Via Cremona will be on your left when you head down Via Ravenna. Really easy!

Bottom line: If you like staying in convenient but non-touristy areas that feel personal and welcoming but not in-your-face this is the place!

We arrived very late and Francesco was super helpful. We had a giant room and nice bathroom as well. The only downside was that it was very far from the airport and an expensive cab ride. Close to the bologna tube stop, everything is accessible.

We stayed here for 5 nights in May 2013. The location is excellent, close to local restaurants & bars and also to the Metro stop. The owners are extremely helpful and will advise on travel and places to visit. We had a private bathroom but this was situated separately to the room. Breakfast was plentiful and delivered your room on a trolley at a time convenient to you. We had a great break and would definitely stay here if we visit Rome again.

I would consider myself lucky to stay at this hidden gem during my Rome visit. In a city where language is a barrier and transportation system is vast and at the same time complicated, Evana and her husband were always there to make our life easy.

The location is excellent considering close proximity to the Bologna metro. From this metro you can reach most of the tourist attractions with ease. The neighborhood is serene but with the choice of some good restaurants at reasonable price compared to the downtown of Rome.

Please note that this is not a full fledged hotel rather it's a bed and breakfast type. The room is spacious and clean with air con and lcd tv. You can get quality breakfast at €4 which has a good selection and this breakfast will cost more than €10 if eaten outside.

Whenever we needed any assistance for our travel, Evana was there to help us with great tips and right advice. This guidance is specially required for Asians like us because we have limited knowledge about European travel and Europe is different to Asia in many ways and some Europeans unlike Asians may refuse to offer assistance on the road to tourists.

My advice would be look no further in Rome and stay at this place.

I recently (June 13) once again stayed at the B&B Cupido.

This gem of a B&B constantly exceeds my expectations.

This B&B surpasses most of the smaller hotels in Rome - Situated in a quiet residential area, just a few minutes walk from Bologna metro station, just three stops from Termini.

The entrance hall, bedrooms and bathroom were clean, tidy and comfortable, bright & airy.

The decor has been well planned to give the 'Cupido' theme.

This B&B has a homely feel about it, just the place to return to after a hard days sightseeing.

Breakfast is served in your room, choice of foods ranging from fruit juice, cofee, tea, rolls, preserves, cheeses & cold meats - excellent for setting you up for your day.

Evelina will spend time finding you places to see and things to do. nothing is too much trouble.

I would, without question, recommend this as a place to stay when visiting Rome.

Well done B&B Cupido!

Room Tip: 3 rooms are available, one double with en-suit, one double with an additional bed & a single (th...
