Hotel Lancelot was a great place to stay in Rome and ideally located to major attractions. It was easily accessible to various modes of transportation and a quiet oasis from the crowds. The staff are very warm and welcoming and able to direct you to restaurants, attractions and other travelling needs. While on our stay a medical need came up requiring attention on a Sunday evening and Ferris Khan went above and beyond to support us through the Italian medical system. It was truly a blessing for his help. We hope to be back to Rome again some day and will definitely stay again.

My wife and I just got back from our 8 day trip to Rome, what a city. We decided to stay at the Hotel Lancelot based on the positive feedback provided from other hotel patrons. They were not wrong. The hotel staff was so nice and helpful; we truly had a great time there. The hotel is within walking distance to pretty much anything you may be interested in. My wife and I walked everywhere while in Rome. No issues at all. If you do not want to walk the Metro is located next to the Coliseum. The hotel is very quiet and the common eating arrangement was a nice change. You can't go wrong with this hotel.

Room Tip: ask for a room on the 6th floor, easy access to the common balcony located on the same floor.

This sort of place is not really my cup of tea but the Lancelot is a decent hotel, well located, and affordable (assuming you don’t pay the rack rate). It’s core business appears to be small tourist groups. A solid, safe bet with helpful patient staff who clearly make a lot of travelers' time in Rome just that little bit easier.

We stayed four nights at the Hotel Lancelot in September 2012. Described in Rick Steve's book, it is a short walk from the Coliseum, with easy access to good food and gelato. The rooms on the top floor boast a charming terrace with a view of the Coliseum. We only had dinner there one night and it was lovely. The breakfasts are delicious, fruit, various baked goods, cheese, etc. We'd go back in a minute and stay longer if we could.

Room Tip: Go for the Coliseum view rooms if you can splurge a little.

This unique little hotel is located near the Colosseum, major bus routes and not far to the train station. The breakfasts and dinners were outstanding with great service. An intimate dining room where you get a chance to meet other travelers from all over the world. The rooms are clean and bright. Every person on the desk was terrific....always willing to help, make suggestions and give you assistance whenever needed. We would stay here again!!
