“great value for modern apartment-style B&B”
Reviewed 20 September 2011

Fantastic place to stay. Very clean, modern and spacious room. Ample breakfast. When I arrived, I was greeted at the front door by the friendly host who took my luggage up the stairs and gave me tips for getting around Rome. Very convienient location for visiting the Vatican, which is right across the street. Has air conditioning, international TV channels, mini-bar/fridge with free bottled water. My room had a little balcony. Excellent value for the solo traveller in Rome.

This aparthotel is really great - everything from location, value for money, comfort and up to fantastic breakfast and very helpful owner of the place. We stayed just for a couple of days but that was a part of a 3 weeks trip around Italy and I can say this was one of the best stops.

This place was my first foray into B&B's & it was a pleasant surprise.
The name says it all...it's like your own room in an apartment block minus a kitchen!
Everything wax brand new & the room was great, as was the service & b'fast was amazing.
I would have loved a kettle to make a cuppa though & you need to be able to climb 7 flights of stairs to get to your room.
If you like social interaction this place isn't for you, as there is no reception or central facility...again, as the name suggests, it's an apartment.
Fantastic location right next to the Vatican.
Stephano was great walking me to a taxi on checkout & the guy who checked me in was also very helpful & friendly (didn't catch his name, but it was on a Sat).
I'd definitely stay here again, but please put kettles in the rooms! :-)

A fantastic place to stay during a busy holiday. The rooms were very modern, clean and comfortable. The location was just across the road from the Vatican with transport into the city centre stopping out the front of the hotel. Beware that the B&B is located on the third floor, so you must walk up around 7 short flights of stairs. If you have lots of baggage this might be a problem. We stayed during summer when Rome was over 30 degrees, but the air conditioning worked excellently and was always nice and cold in the room.
The host doesn't live on the property, but there is always a staff member serving breakfast in the mornings if we ever needed to ask questions. Definitely recommend this B&B for any traveller that enjoys a good breakfast, a big comfortable bed, and in quiet central area.

We stayed last weekend at this fantastic aparthotel. It´s a very pleasant building just in front of the Vatican, and believe me that it´s amazing to wake up every morning hearing the Vatican bells! Breakfast is served at your own room, and you only can feel yourself like a princess.
You have bus stops at the very door of the hotel and underground just 5 minutes walking. Everything is new and very modern looking!
If Trevi fountain makes my desire of coming back true, it will be again at this hotel, for sure.

Room Tip: Ask for San Pietro´s room! Views of the San Pietro!

If you need a super simple place next to the Vatican and are looking for a clean, comfy room with no added perks - book this hotel. Great service, quiet. Firm beds - but many prefer those. I just enjoy something more plush.

Room Tip: Book St. Peter's Room early for view
