“Does the job”
Reviewed 7 March 2012

This hotel was part of a deal I booked for 3 nights in Rome.
This hotel isnt close to the centre of Rome but the transport is good. The hotel provides a transfer bus to either the metro or the vatican, which has to be booked the night before. We used this service everyday.
The rooms were fine, the decor could be updated but the amount of time we spent there it really didnt matter. It was clean and the staff were very friendly, especially at breakfast.
The only tip I would give is if you eat there in the evening either pay and retain a reciept or pay for everything when you leave. We ate there on the sunday night and paid for it but the next night we ate there and they said we should pay when we leave, so we accepted that.
When we went to check out and pay for mondays meal they told us we had not paid for sundays and charged us twice, as we didnt have a reciept they wouldnt accept they were wrong and made us pay again.

Dear friend,
We’re sorry about the trouble you’ve underlined. Our barman said “ Yes, I remember very well mr. .....! He pays only the beers drunk at bar “So, you didn’t pay twice the dinner ! You paid once your drinks by cash and once your dinner by credit card at the Reception :2 people, 2 beers, 1 coke, 1 vegetable soup and 1 fried squids and shrimps. Anyway, we hope having you one time more as our guest and we’ll be glad to offer you our best service.
Best regards

We stayed at this hotel from the 15th – 20th Feb 2012. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. The hotel offers a free return shuttle bus service to the Vatican City each day - this is very useful as well as being prompt and reliable. The walk from the drop off point to the centre of Rome is around 15 mins. Very pleasant walk. The breakfast is fabulous! Gennora offers a wonderful selection of food. He is very professional, friendly and charming. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

First thing to be ready for is a lengthy taxi ride from the airport, probably 45 - 50 minutes plus the time the taxi driver was lost for! Arrived on a Sunday evening (22nd Jan) at around 9.00pm, hotel was almost empty but the staff were still attentive and helpful, which was the case for the entire stay. I presume it to be because of the off season but it really was like we were the only people there, I did not see any other guests but could hear some people above us. Breakfast was fine, the chef would cook eggs or bacon on request whilst there was a full range of cereals, breads and juices available. Restaurant was always closed by the time we got back from sightseeing but to be fair, we always returned quite late as the hotel is a lengthy bus ride or taxi ride from the centre of town. Never a 4 star rating but a decent 3 star in my book. Rooms always clean, staff always pleasant and helpful, bathrooms well equipped and a nice large bedroom with lots of storage, good bed too!

We have travelled all over the world stayed in hotels and timeshares. The service we received from the reception to the maids and restaurant staff was A+++. Mr gennaro motto was if there is anything that is not on the buffet table just ask him he will provide .His pleasant nature and impeccable customer service was outstanding.Rooms were average in appearance bathrooms large, modern nice decor.

Stayed 5 nights, for New Years Eve vacation.
Pleasant service and stuff. Rooms every day clean and neat.
Very nice breakfast and ever better the "soul" of the hotels' mornings mr. Gennaro, a real professional that loves his job and knows how to please the customers.
Nice, safe and not noisy location, although is a bit far. Anyway, if you use bus: station is 5 min walk. You get to Cipro metro station and Vatican city in about 10 min (bus 913, 991 etc) and to city center (augusta / del corso) in 20-25 min (bus 913).
See also bus 990 whose station is very close to the hotel. It gets near city center (p.za cavour) via Cipro metro station and Vatican city.
Also, there is a night bus (n6) that starts from p.za venezzia, runs all the city center and gets you directly to the hotel. Excellent value for money.

Stayed here recently for a Congress in Rome (recommended hotel in brochure). Reception staff (Stefano & Sakis) and driver of hotel shuttle bus (Ernesto) very helpful, friendly, efficient and to be highly commended. Nice quiet location with neat and tidy room with added bonus of free wireless internet connection. Buffet breakfast excellent. Would stay again if travel to Rome purely for value and service.
