We ve recently returned from this hotel as a treat for my 50th birthday and I was a bit disappointed at how far away from the major tourist attractions of rome. The hotel does provide a free shuttle bus that leaves at 8.30,9.30 and10.30 but the bus dosent pick you up until 6.30 and 7.30 in the evening which is a long time when your on your feet all day I would feel it would be particularly unsuitable if you we're elderly. The hotel is situated in a residential area and there is absolutely nowhere to eat or drink other than the hotel. The food is ok but it would have been nice to be able to have the choice to eat elsewhere. The hotel itself is average and not ,in my opinion a 4 star, but the staff are friendly and helpful. If your going to Rome purely for sightseeing would suggest staying in a hotel which is within walking distance of the attractions even if you have to you to go to a hotel with a lower star rating It would be worth it just to be able to fully enjoy the wonderful sights Rome has to offer
