We stayed here for 2 days. excellent location close to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Emmanuel Monument, the pantheon, the Roman Forum etc.The breakfast was great with hot chocolate, coffee, tea, breads, cheeses, meats and yogurts. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Lots of restaurants close by but it is a busy area with lots of traffic.

Charming hotel in a fabulous location (close to main station, main bus line, coloseum). Friendly and helpful staff. A big thank you to Giseppe and everyone for all your Rome recommendations and for making our stay a pleasure.

Me and my mum went in November 2012 for my 18th birthday and decided after much deliberation on this hotel based on price and location.

Upon our arrival we were asked if we wanted a small room with a view or a big room with no view. As the view was of part of the ancient forum and the trajan's column we chose the small room. Evenn though the size didn't bother us, to say it was small is an understatement. The door wouldn't open all the way as it hit the bed and we could hardly get to the window as the bed was in the way. In the bathroom the toilet was in front of a wall and you had to climb over a B-day to get to it and then had to sit sideways to fit on it (not recommended for larger people.)

Needless to say, the location was absolute PERFECTION. just a stones throw away from all the major attractions right in the middle of the colosseum, trevi fountain and the pantheon. The fact that you had to walk past the Roman Forum every time you walked out the hotel was just amazing.

The breakfast was wonderful with hot chocolate, coffee, tea, breads, cheeses, meats, yogurts etc etc. There was no timing to breakfast, just get there before the end.

The only major downside to the hotel is the noise. This didn't bother us as we read reviews and took ear plugs but oh my god, thank goodness we did. The ambulances there are unnecessarily loud and every Italian feels the need to honk their horn at anything. But with earplugs I slept like a baby each night.

The staff were friendly enough but nothing special.

I don't have enough time nor space to write how perfect and amazing our trip to Rome was, I can't fault it in any way shape or form.

Stayed in the hotel for 2 nights at the beginning of November.

The location is good. Walking distance (or short cab ride) from the Roma Termini. Short walk (10 minutes) from Trevi and (15 minutes) from Coliseum.

The rooms are in good condition but definitely not up to 4* standard. We for instance were given a room with one very small window. Probably due to this the rooms felt like a basement or storage with distinctive smell and this is despite quite nice decorations. We did ask to change the room but were told that the hotel was fully booked. As we were only staying there for 2 nights we decided not to waste our time and nerves with further arguments at the hotel Reception. And also we found November nights/early morning to be considerably cold but there was no heating in the hotel. There were still in summer/early autumn mode with no heating available in rooms. I am not sure when they switch their heating system on, but beginning of November should definitely be considered as a starting point.

The staff are welcoming and helpful. They helped us by advising some good places to eat around the hotel and how to get to some of the attractions. They have also booked us a cab to the Roma Termini.

The Breakfast is average. If you are charged extra, my advice is do not bother. If it is included in your room price (like was in our case) then go for it. It is eatable but nothing special. The restaurant room is quite well decorated.

Located just a few steps to Piazza Venezia and Foro Romano. The hotel is a bit worn down, but they've started renovating. They offer a very strong breakfast, which was included in the rate.

The rooms are a little small, but adequate.

Stayed here for 3 nights and had an exceptional time. You couldn't find a better location. Walking distance to the
Coliseum, Palladium, Spanish steps, Trevi fountain, close to the Vatican, and more. The staff is one of the most helpful and friendly I've experienced. The price was right and it included a more than ample breakfast buffet including scrambled eggs and bacon, hard boiled eggs, meats, cheeses, fresh baked breads, fruits, pastries, etc. The area can be noisy from the street traffic, so I would ask for a rear facing room. Room and bed size small, but more than usual size. Will stay here again and definitely recommend it.

We (2 females) stayed in this hotel for a week on a sightseeing holiday. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good. We are of average fitness and were able to walk to all the major sights. Quiet location opposite an ancient Roman Warehouse and street which is now a museum. The room was clean. The only drawback was the lack of a safe in the room. Lovely 200 year old building. A of A and J adventures.
