I have been going to Settimio al Pellegrino for more than 20 years. The quality of food is excellent. As with typical roman trattoria, the menu changes by the day of the week, plus some specials as rigatoni and polpette are always available. Try the gnocchi on Thursday, and the polpette which are really exquisite. Also homemade fettuccine on Sunday morning are a must. The owners are always present, Teresa reigns over the kitchen and Mario is the PR guy. Very familiar ambience and atmosphere, it looks like you are eating at home with some friends.
