“Superb location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 March 2013

10 of us stayed here during the 6 nations rugby,we booked it by chance a were very impressed with it's location for walking around Rome (the best way to see the city, take your walking boots). We had what was described as a small double room,it's was certainly small but very clean and manageable, the only problem was the shower was a curtain type rather than sliding door so it always billows in with the heat rising and soaks the floor, the shower head was a bit kerfuffle trying to get it to wet you rather than the wall or ceiling but our friends in other rooms had a better set up.
The breakfast has been covered before,I'd of loved a hotel toasting machine to crisp up the bread though.
Getting there, for two of you there are shared minibus taxis at the airport that will take youth the door for 20 euro each,if there are more that can drop to 14 euros, which is the cost of the train the the main terminus only.then you have to mess about getting from there.
Stadium fans, there is a bus number 53 which goes round the houses but to the stadium in 40 mins,or take a nice walk up to the piazza del popolo and get the 10 min tram.if it's busy when you get to the terminus by the stadium go a couple of blocks back to caffe tiziano for a pre match drink,a very large glass of nice wine for 4 euro and nice food.
Overall, yes I would definately reccomend this hotel.

We stayed here 6 nights and enjoyed the hotel immensely. Our room faced Via del Corso so at times the traffic was pretty loud, but it gave us a real taste of the "hustle and bustle" of Rome. It is listed as a 3 star hotel but it seemed much better than that. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was very clean with beautiful wooden doors and paneling and a modern bath. The breakfast buffet was sufficient and there were numerous choices including coffee, tea, juice yogurt, cereals, fresh fruit, hard rolls, bread for toast, cheeses and meats and a variety of small pastries, jams and spreads.

Central location on Main Street but well protected from traffic noise. Suggest the superior rooms well worth extra. We had a terrace and sun loungers.Breakfast good ,staff courteous and helpful.Sheets and towels changed every day. 5 star treatment for 3 star prices.

Room Tip: Go for rooms on the 5 th floor with sun terrace or the garden room on the 6 th floor. One warning...

Our 4-night stay at the hotel was very pleasant. The hotel is very close to main tourist attractions - about 5-minute walk to the pantheon and to the Trevi Fountain. Not too far a walk to the Colosseum or the Spanish steps either, only about 10-15 minutes.

The room was very clean and the reception staff was friendly and helpful. There is also free wifi available in the rooms and the lobby, which was really good. Breakfast was a typical continental fare, with a choice of a hot drink. Overall an excellent hotel and highly recommended.

Booked a hotel and flight package with BA and stayed 4 nights with free breakfast (very important if you have a lot of walking planned!) Breakfast was a hot drink, orange and pineapple juice, cereal + muesli, fresh fruits, yogurt (latte flavour!), bread rolls, bread (not toast), assortment of jams and nutella (Marmite fans, pack your own), 2 types of cheese, ham and salami, warm croissants and pains aux raisins, mini muffins, and a random extra if you're lucky (doughnuts one day, custard filled buns the next). Room was very clean, came with free internet - always a good thing. Bathroom and toilet were also very clean. Bathtub was..different. lol. Mind your step. Had a free bottle of wine with the hotel reservation but didn't actually get to drink it, sadly as we were out exploring Rome most of the time! Wanted to keep it in the fridge but fridge was too small. Beds were comfy enough. I slept on the sofa and didn't have a problem sleeping. Air conditioning wasn't working very well, blowing out warm air instead of cold. We left the windows open at night and that worked just as well as an aircond so, no complaints.

Hotel's located very near the Trevi fountain, spanish steps, pantheon and the most expensive shopping street in Rome. Best way to explore Rome's on foot - we walked to the Vatican city (the sistine chapel was closed unfortunately), Colosseum, Trastevere etc even when it was raining. Staff were very friendly and arranged a taxi for us to the airport when we checked out (costs more or less what we would've paid to take the train as we were a group of 3) and stored our luggage for free whilst we went out to get some last minute souvenirs. Waiters were very attentive at breakfast and came to take our order for drinks very quickly. Enjoyed our stay but still feeling sorry about the wine!

We had a large room and terrace for one night before leaving on a cruise. The hotel arranged for our pickup from the airport and our transportation to the cruise port the next day. They quickly responded to my emails and everything went very smoothly. Wish I could have stayed longer!

We had 3 nights in the Regno and found the hotel warm, friendly and brilliantly situated.

Basically an excellent tourist hotel The Trevia Fountaine and the Pantheon were only minutes away and the rest of Rome within 10/15 minutes. Breakfast is a little basic but the staff were excellent and very friendly

Room Tip: can get a bit noisy as its on a main road so at the side or back might be a better option if avaiaib...
