Hotel situated on Via Del Corso with a 500 mtr walk one way to Trevi Fountain and 500 mtr walk the other way to Pantheon. Also very handy to the shopping area near Spanish Steps and the Colossuem and Roman Forum easily walkable. Very helpful and friendly staff, good continental breakfast. Our room very small with bed tucked into a corner with only one side having access, still very comfortable and good size bathroom. An opening window to get some fresh air and let in the sounds of the city, blocked out the sounds when needed as well. Free wifi. Only ranked as 3 star but very more than happy to recommend it due to its very central location. Plenty of restaurants around the area and can recommend Il Rienzo at the foot of the Pantheon, ask for Salvatore to look after you!

Stayed here for 4 night in late March, and found the location excellent, and can't complain about anything! The staff were friendly, the breakfast was good and we couldn't hear any noise from other rooms. We were lucky to have a room with a balcony at the front of the hotel, I'm guessing only 3 of their rooms have them so we were very lucky.

Room Tip: rooms at the front are quite noisy

This hotel is right on the Via del Corsa the main road through although saying that it is really quiet as the windows are coveres with 2 shutters so you hardly hear a thing outside.

You are a 5 minute walk from the Trevi fountain, 15 minutes from the Pantheon and spanish steps. It's a bout a 20 minute walk to the Colloseum but it's a really nice walk so don't get the bus if you don't mind the walk.

We got a taxi to the amazing Vatican which cost us 11 euros.

When you walk into the hotel it does feel a little like you are walking into the past, but I can't fault anything about it.
Staff are very helpful and friendly.
I will definately return to Rome in the future and would n't hesitate to stay here again,

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the front they seem to be bigger.

We stayed from Monday 25th to Friday 29th March. Having read previous reviews about this hotel and been informed by friends who had stayed about it, we were not disappointed. It is ideally located for all the main attractions such as Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier (Vittorio Emmanuelle Monument), which are in walking distance but if you are going to Vatican City, which is about a 40 minute walk, ask the reception staff if you want to know how to get there by bus and they will not only tell you which bus to catch but which side of the road it leaves from. All the staff are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. If you want to know, ask!

When eating out for lunch and dinner there are lots of little side roads with excellent cafes and restaurants which are reasonably priced - shop around.

Happy Easter one and all. Enjoy. We'll certainly be back.

Wonderful stay at this centrally located hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was great and plentiful. Would definitely stay here again as it is just a short walk to major sights. The poor reviews of this hotel seem at odds with our experience !!!

This Hotel is very small and not very friendly! (at all)
The staff at breakfast are less than helpful. They will try and cramm you onto the smallest
table (if there are more than two of you) and expect you to manouvere yourself and your breakfast in a 30cm squared tiny table, all three of you. They will do anything to stop you speading out (god forbid) onto a table for four, which is also small.
If you are staying here DO NOT STAY IN ROOM 226. The acoustics in the room next door (224)
mean that you hear EVERY single thing they do in their bathroom as if they were in your room doing it!!!!!!!!!!! Awful when the three "lads" in there come in at 1.30am and start peeing.....brushing their teeth......showering etc. Or when the Italian child from hell is screaming his head off because he doesnt wasnt his hair washed!!! When we complained about this the desk staff just shrugged and said "so...its an old Hotel...you will hear noise".....when we added that it wasnt just "noise" we were hearing and that it was as if they were doing it in our room they just said "nothing we can do short of soundproofing everything what do you expect". They said they could not move us to another room either.
Rome was lovely but this Hotel was NOT.

Room Tip: DO NOT HAVE ROOM 226. Choose the top floor....although the lift is VERY small and was out of order...

Hotel Regno, very friendly staff, just a few minutes walk from Trevi fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Piazza venezia and the Spanish steps, not to mention a pleasant walk to all the other main attractions, Vatican, Colosseum etc. Pleasant rooms The only drawback in the hotel was the fact that room 246, the position of the toilet when sat on it your knees touch the wall in front of you, apart from this it was excellent.

Room Tip: Room 228 where are friends stayed was excellent
