Great location for exploring Rome. Hotel staff was friendly & helpful. We had a nice room that also had a living room, a full and half bath. Also- a wonderful balcony. Front desk staff very helpful. It was somewhat noisy at night- from the street below. Would like to stay here again.

We stayed here with our two children for two nights. When booking this hotel it was based on reviews, so I was aware I was not booking a new/modern hotel, I was delighted from the moment we walked in. The room was very spacious, on the top floor with a verandah, it did smell a little musty from what we assume was the drains, but not overbearing. Breakfast was lovely and an adequate selection.

The staff particularly on the front desk were exceptional, they were always happy to answer all our questions, book us taxis and recommended places to go. At one stage they booked a taxi for us, after waiting in the foyer the taxi arrived. While in the taxi the driver had a call, it was from the hotel to say we left our camera at reception and they will keep it behind the front counter, in my view that is amazing service that we truly appreciated.

The hotel is in the most amazing position, so central to everything. I would definitely highly recommend this homeland would definitely stay here again.

I booked this hotel as part of a package through BA.
The hotel itself is decent enough. Clean, a little tired looking. The staff are great, helpful and welcoming.
The breakfast was actually pretty decent. It must be remembered that europeans generally breakfast light, so meats and cheese and bread are the usual fayre.
The bed was very confortable, but the bathroom did have a vague sewer smell. I actually think this was due to the city sewer system, nott he cleanliness of the hotel. The smell could not be smelled in the bedroom at all, and Could be eliminated almost entirely by keeping the toilet lid down.

Nothing special, but great for walking to all the major tourist attractions.

Location of this Hotel is perfect for most of the tourist attractions and shopping in central Rome Trevi fountain is about 100m away coulasium about 500m could not ask more for location and the staff very courties but the hotel needs a good make over in the rooms looking tired and bruiesed and they have free wifi but the reception is not good have to sit down in the resturant to have any kind of a signal form the box near our floor . Our room was on the first floor with a balcony facing on to the street wich was nice to take photos and if you close the doors the block the noise prety good air con did not work but was November so no problem we would stay hear again just for the location it is in.

The hotel is on busy Via del Corso with a narrow footpath and small entrance (no parking at all), BUT the airport transfer people had no trouble getting us and luggage in and out. We were originally placed in a nice 'veranda' room on the top floor, BUT the commercial air conditioner unit on the roof causes a vibrating noise in ceiling and walls, BUT the excellent staff (particularly the porter) transferred us to a 'balcony' room on a lower floor. The cosy bar and restaurant in the advertising brochure was no longer open, BUT we found some great little restaurants nearby and the restaurant space in the hotel served a satisfactory continental style breakfast. The location is busy, crowded and dirty, BUT is only a block from Trevi in one direction and Pantheon in other direction - easy walk to Spanish Steps, Colosseum, Forum (and Vatican if energetic). Thirty odd years ago we threw 'three coins in the fountain' (intending to return), BUT Rome has changed so much (dirty, graffiti, beggars, smokers everywhere, very crowded and illegal street sellers) that we did not do so this time.

Room Tip: Do not pick rooms on top floor - commercial air conditioner unit on roof causes a vibrating noise in...

We are a family of 4 and spent four nights here at half term. It really is a perfect location for discovering Rome. The hotel is just moments from the Trevi fountain and the Spanish steps. If you want to go shopping then it is literally right outside the front door. We walked everywhere from here - even over to the Vatican, which took us about 40 minutes.
The building itself is lovely and old. We had a family room on the fourth floor. The bedroom and bathroom weren't huge, but we spent so little time there it didn't matter. The beds were very comfy though and the room was very clean. There is also air conditioning which was lovely as it got quite warm at night.
Breakfast was lovely. There was plenty to eat and it was regularly stocked up. We had fresh rolls, bread, ham, cheese, jam, cereal, pastries, fruit and fruit juice.
For a city centre hotel this is just perfect. We would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again,

I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Regno on my recent trip to Italy. For anyone visiting Italy for the first time, a stay at Hotel Regno is a must if you want to experience true Italian hospitality. The Hotel is scrupulously maintained, clean and perfectly located in the middle of the city. What really sets Hotel Regno apart from all other hotels that I have ever stay in is the level of service and the friendly helpful staff. You are really made to feel special and get to know staff by their first names very quickly.

No matter how busy the hotel gets, the front desk staff I met including Rosa, Gabrielle, Giuseppe, Paulo, and Manuela will help you with everything you need to know including intimate locations / sights and shopping locations. The places that only the locals know of (Thanks everyone).

This level of service only comes from staying at a hotel where the staff love their work and just love to help. See you next year Hotel Regno: Bravo!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony, the views over the roofs, bell towers etc are fantastic
