“Long weekend in Rome”
Reviewed 8 April 2014

The Hotel is situated on the Via da Corsa a very busy main thoroughfare through Rome. It is within 5 minutes walking to the Trevi Fountain and the Plaza di Popolo. We purchased before we went bus tickets that enabled us to opt on and off of local buses and the OMNIA open topped hop on and off the bus. Main buses we were able to get on just outside the hotel then changed to the hop on and off bus. This runs every two mins. With his ticket we were able to go into the Vatican, Sistine Chapel and Coliseum bypassing the two hour queue. Back to the hotel had I been staying longer I would have asked to change the room because we had an awful smell in the bathroom and it had mildew. The room was adequate but there was no drawer space at all.
Our friends overlooked the main street and they were kept awake every evening through noise. The reception staff and porter were friendly but the breakfast staff were not. The breakfast room got very crowded or you had to wait for a table and moving around was a squeeze. I would not recommend this hotel if you are staying longer than a few days.

Room Tip: We were on the 3rd floor but that did not stop the noise ask for a quite room!

This hotel had a great location, 2 minute walk to the Trevi fountain, the tourist information place is just across the road lots of great restaurants and cultural activities in the area, walking distance to the colosseum, you can walk to the station which will take you to Vatican City and right in the centre of Rome, highly recommended and had friendly staff who tried as much as they could to help you out and had a great breakfast.

We were upgraded without asking which was a tremendous touch. Delightful room, not noisy as it overlooked the alleyway behind the hotel. The staff were always helpful. Breakfast was adequate. Recommended.

This was a great location, walking distance to all tourist attractions. We were traveling with 9 and 14 year old boys. We booked a family room with a queen bed and two twins. There was enough space but the beds were very hard. The staff was very helpful

My husband and I spent 3 nights here and could not have picked a better hotel. The rooms were spotless and the breakfasts plentiful. If you so desired you could pay to have eggs and bacon. The staff were extremely helpful and very cheerful. The location was perfect as it was in walking distance of all the major sights. If ever we returned to Rome we would definitely try to stay here.

Just back after my stay.
Pros.. Amazing central location in the middle of main shopping street via del corso so we walked to all sights from colosseum to Spanish steps .
Good breakfast. Always found space but don't know if the hotel was full.
Cons.. Thought 210 euros was bit much cos room was very small for a triple but bathroom was comfortable.
Really missed not having coffee/ tea making facility in room.

Good location on the main shopping street within walking distance of many of the Historic sights of Rome. Rooms very clean with hair drier and Italian TV. Towels changed and beds made daily. Plentiful continental breakfast and we managed to find a seat every morning! Several eating places around the hotel for lunch or evening meal. The staff spoke very good English and were extremely helpful. The only draw back being a very warm room but noisy if the windows left open as we overlooked the busy street. We will certainly go there again if we return to Rome.
