The Hotel is situated on the Via da Corsa a very busy main thoroughfare through Rome. It is within 5 minutes walking to the Trevi Fountain and the Plaza di Popolo. We purchased before we went bus tickets that enabled us to opt on and off of local buses and the OMNIA open topped hop on and off the bus. Main buses we were able to get on just outside the hotel then changed to the hop on and off bus. This runs every two mins. With his ticket we were able to go into the Vatican, Sistine Chapel and Coliseum bypassing the two hour queue. Back to the hotel had I been staying longer I would have asked to change the room because we had an awful smell in the bathroom and it had mildew. The room was adequate but there was no drawer space at all.
Our friends overlooked the main street and they were kept awake every evening through noise. The reception staff and porter were friendly but the breakfast staff were not. The breakfast room got very crowded or you had to wait for a table and moving around was a squeeze. I would not recommend this hotel if you are staying longer than a few days.
