This hotel is the perfect base for a visit to Rome. Walking distance to all the major sights.
Hotel staff were so friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is continental but is fresh with a wide variety and delicious.
The rooms are spotless, beds were very comfortable and cleaned daily.
We stayed on the 3rd floor at the front of the hotel and we had 3 sets of double glazed windows to block out the noise. Slept soundly every night.
Definitely recommend this hotel.

A 3 night break in Rome could have been spoiled by the airline losing our suitcase - but it wasn't, and the great location of the Hotel Regno helped. Not only is it perfectly placed for lots of attractions like the Trevi, Pantheon, Forum and Colosseum, its also just a short walk fro the main shopping areas (consult your bank manager before shopping on the via Condotti). The hotel is fairly traditionally decorated and furnished, but our room was fine, with a good-sized en-suite, and although we overlooked the main and very busy via Corso, the room was very quiet due to the excellent glazing. Our only issue was with the breakfast room which was small and tightly packed at times - best tip is to eat early (before 8) or late (after 9) and avoid the crush. The continental breakfasts themselves were very good with plenty of choice. Would have no problem recommending the Regno to other people.

We had a great experience at Hotel Regno. It is a brilliant location, within easy walking distance of all major attractions including the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, the Colosseum and the Vatican City. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help out. The room was very clean and comfortable, and had a lovely balcony to relax on (although not all rooms have this)! All up, we were very impressed!!

We went to Rome for 3 nights to celebrate my wife's birthday and were pleased with our choice of hotel. Whilst the rooms are compact, the bed was excellent. Perhaps that's the slight problem with the older European hotels, as we get a bit larger, we need bigger beds and so the room looks smaller than it used too once! Great location and good advice on where to eat. Indeed if we had taken their advice we could have saved ourselves the usual Trip advisor research. Do try Hostaria Romana. It's very close, full of locals and very reasonably priced for the quality of food.

Room Tip: Our room looked out over the Rome rooftops away from the street and sadly I cannot remember the number but I guess if you ask for a quiet standard room you will get something similar.

Nice hotel in a wonderful location. You can walk to all the major attractions. Our room was clean, nice and had a large patio/ balcony at the front of the room which overlooked the city. We would sit out there and have a glass of wine in the evening. The one down side of this room was it is at the front of the hotel and is rather noisy from the street traffic at night. The breakfasts were great. All of the hotel staff were very friendly.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room at the back side of the hotel away from the street noise.
