Just back from a long weekend in Rome. Hotel Regno was a fantastic choice for our family due to the amazing location. Our room on the 5th floor had a lovely balcony overlooking the cobbled streets at the side of the hotel and views over the rooftops of Rome. The room was spotlessly clean. Only minor complaint was that there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms and the breakfast was a bit limited especially for me on a gluten-free diet. But that wasn't really an issue as we spent the rest of the day eating and most restaurants elsewhere cater for gluten-free in Rome, including all the pasta and pizza dishes which was a lovely surprise. Would definatley highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to find all the sites on their doorsteps. If we are lucky enough to return again to Rome, we would book Hotel Regno.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the 5th or 6th floor with a balcony, we emailed the hotel prior to arrival with this request after reading reviews on trip advisor.

We spent 2 nights at the hotel before heading off on a cruise. We only had a short time in Rome and wanted to see as much as possible. We couldn't have chosen better. The location of the hotel was perfect and enabled us to walk with ease to all of the sights we wanted to see - albeit briefly. Hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful, the room was comfortable and provided the facilities we needed (including free wifi) and the breakfasts were very good. Would certainly use again if I return to Rome to see more.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights after reading TA reviews. Reception lady very professional and good English - we had room starting with 4 ( can't remember exact but lift to 3rd floor and walked up stairs to get to our room). It was good - small balcony - very small - but let in natural light and was spacious enough and clean. This hotel is in the BEST location - the breakfast which was included was okay - standard for this country. about a 20 min walk to train station - or 9 euro taxi ride to train station off peak. Being on the Via del Corsa (?) it was smack bang in the middle of best shopping area also - will stay here if I return to Roma again.

We had a party of 13 staying here to celebrate my birthday - and we could not have chosen a better hotel!! The room standard, price, location, and cleanliness were all faultless, and the staff bent over backwards to help us with anything. Especially when one of our group suffered a stroke on the final day of our stay - Rosa, in particular, could not have done more to assist us, she is a little angel. Every member of our party would have no hesitation staying at the Regno again - a super hotel in a super city!!

We were a little underwhelmed when we got to the room. The walks are paper thin and we could hear everything (and I mean everything) going on in the neighbouring room. The bathroom door didn't shut properly and the air conditioning was pretty useless. However, the hotel is located slap bang centre of everything so it's a brilliant place to use as a base. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. I doubt many other hotels within this price range and location would be better.
