We stayed at the St. Regis for nine consecutive nights. The hotel met all our five star expectations re: elegance, ambiance, service, food quality, cleanliness and location. The staff are professional, thoughtful and extremely friendly. Our room was luxurious and exactly as advertised. We will definitly stay at the St. Regis again.

St. Regis is a beautiful hotel in the center of Rome. Its location makes it accessible to all the historical spots. The room is spacious and well kept. The staff is wonderful. No request is too small and all requests are attended to promptly. The concierge is remarkable, they even procured v.i.p. tickets for us to the Papal audience. I would absolutely stay at the St. Regis Rome again.

St. Regis Rome is called Grand for a reason. The hotel is beautiful and the location...well you all know the real estate rule..location, location, location. We stayed there for 6 nights and I am glad we did. As SPG Platinum, we were torn between Westin Excelsior, St. Regis and the non SPG iQ hotel Roma we saw everyone rave about. I actually had multiple reservations until 7 days before when I saw the St. Regis upgraded us to a suite. Upon arrival our room was not ready, so we were given a deluxe room to shower and relax while we waited. Excellent touch! Our butler service was great and Giovanni felt like family getting us our coffee, cookies etc. The bottom line is that you have a few trade offs. As in other reviews, the suite was warm, buy we enjoyed the open air of Rome. Do not buy anything drinks from the room(8 Euro for a coke bottle) However, room service is a must even though it is pricy. The location to the Metro, termini and tour buses make the trade offs trivial.

Recently stayed at this hotel and regret for doing it so early! I would recommend this hotel for valentine weekend! Booked from tigerhotels.co.uk. The hotel is within walking distance of the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain and Via Veneto. The rooms are lavishly decorated with rich damask, silks and cosy carpet, giving a royal feeling. The restaurant served signature dishes by award wining chefs! The staff was friendly and helpful. Rome is voted as most romantic city and St Regis hotel should be voted as most romatic hotel in Rome! Indeed we loved the hotel and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Dear Guest,
We are delighted by your wonderful report; there is nothing more rewarding and encouraging than your eloquent recognition!
We certainly agree that the St. Regis hotel is the perfect location to celebrate the one you love; allow us to say that in fact our Executive Chef is preparing an inspiring St. Valentine's degustation menu in the romantic and bespoke atmosphere of our Vivendo Restaurant.
We hope we will have the pleasure of welcoming you back soon and, once again, thank you for you for sharing your experience with all of us.
Sincerely yours,
The Hotel Management

Positive aspects:
-- The hotel is quite nice and very luxurious, and in a beautiful space.
-- The service is top notch.
-- I had several meals at the hotel, including breakfast and dinner, and the food was very tasty.
-- The location of the hotel is quite convenient on top of the Repubblica subway stop and just adjacent to the train station.

Some minor drawbacks about the property:
-- The hotel is in an old building and it's clear the property has been around for a while.
-- The room was quite stuffy (temperature-wise) and window-opening helped only slightly.
-- The gym is a bit lacking in features: the men's sauna was broken (for an indefinite amount of time according to the signage and the workers) and the treadmills were not able to be used before 9am (still unclear why).
-- For the price one pays for a room, it's a bit obnoxious to be charged for internet use (3 euro per hour). With room rates as high as they are, just throw the Wi-Fi in gratis.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for your valuable feedback; we appreciate and welcome both your positive comments and your constructive criticism, since it represents an important instrument to identify opportunities for improvement. We have immediately followed up your remarks at an operational level and, although of little consequence to you now, we wish to inform you that the men sauna is now in perfect working conditions and the delayed opening of the gym area has been an exception to the usual opening time which are: h. 07.00 - 22.00 daily. We are sorry that you could not take full advantage of our spa facilities during your visit.
We sincerely hope to have the privilige of welcoming you back on your next trip to Rome!

The hotel hosted over 70 of us for a conference and I couldn't fault a thing. The service was completely discrete and yet they thought of everything, from airing the rooms, remembering the drinks we ordered and even serving us with drinks when we were working on computers in the business centre during the down times.
The food was good, although I think suffered somewhat from the mass cooking. The hors d'oeuvres in cocktail hour were stunning.
I will definitely return for a personal trip.

The St. Regis Grand Hotel in Rome is definitely the best hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. From the moment we walked in the lobby, the service was amazing. Whatever part of the hotel we were in, we were greeted personally and by name. We were personally shown to our room by the front desk staff. The amazing concierge was able to book us into the Galleria Borghese with just a few hours notice. The butler staff is amazing, even by St. Regis standards. Wonderful fresh juices, espresso, tea, and fresh pastries arrived several times daily. We were sent champagne, a fruit plate, and wine courtesy of the management before we even unpacked. We were in a fantastic suite with special touches by a celebrated artist. Everything was lush and luxurious-- pillows, bedding, chairs and sofas, curtains, etc. etc. Can't get enough of the Remede products either. A must visit if you can afford it. Sandro on the management staff deserves special mention for his amazing service.
