I read the reviews before I ever booked this hotel . Rome like other big cities in Europe just don't have the huge rooms you find in the USA for the price you are paying . There are plenty of 4&5 star hotels that do have big bathrooms as well as couches and sitting chairs in your room . Those are the ones that you pay so much to stay there that you feel like you must stay in your room to get your money's worth . Sure the bathroom is smaller than most are used to . They are just that small in many homes in Italy . Showers are usually only big enough to turn around in . I had no problem using the towels provided because they do dry you off well . Sure they are thinner than most are used to but they are that way for a reason . They conserve energy with drying time . If you are like me , you will take a shower before going out to dinner . You hang that towel and it's almost dry before you return from dinner . I've stayed in many places with the thick towels and when you go to take a shower the next morning they are cold and wet . I prefer these towels knowing it's not uncommon for Europe . Now the room . Big bed , clean and well maintained room . Refrigerator well stocked with drinks should you get thirsty. I think the tv had cable but who watches tv ? Breakfast was outstanding in my opinion and pretty typical considering most Italians just don't eat a big breakfast . Non the less I found more than enough to eat . Yes the elevator is small but 2 people could get in it . I've stayed in many hotels with room for 6-8 people in a elevator but I was always waiting to get on the elevator in those places . Fast and efficient is what I'm concerned about . So in my opinion this hotel is a very reasonable choice one can make . Very well situated within walking distance to most any landmark . That is very important in Rome . Just expect a European room that is clean and a comfortable bed and you will be very happy .

My room was very clean, but the shower was very small and the water pressure wasn't great. The hotel staff were very friendly, courteous and polite.
I took the Leonardo Express from the Airport to Rome Termini (14euros, 30mins) and walked 5mins to the hotel. Make sure you pre-book attractions to bypass the queues also some places you have to pre-book. I found it very easy to get around by using my smartphone GPS, some road signs were faded or non-existent. I loved the cobbled streets, piazzas and finding basilicas/churches off the beaten track.

Room Tip: Close to the mainline station (Rome Termini)

I stayed in this hotel with my partner May 2016 for a week's visit to Rome and was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The receptionist (Chandra) was helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable. Hotel rooms were clean. Breakfast was nice with a fantastic view! Only downside is the size of the lift but we found that funny whereas I imagine others not so much! We felt good location, especially if using the red city bus tours as theres a bus stop just around the corner! We'd love to go back to Rome in the future and would stay here again.

We stayed here for 2 nights in July before joining a cruise, it was a lovely clean hotel, very comfy beds and clean room. We had a room at the front with a balcony and it was lovely. Good breakfast and very nice staff. We would recommend this hotel to everyone.

We ended up in this hotel as the hotel we booked could not accommodate us. It is in on a busy road so if you can get a room at the back away from the road it is quieter. Staff very helpful and although not near the main attractions you can walk to them in 15 - 20 minutes, if you do not get lost!!! The rooms are perfectly fine with fridge, safe and hair dryer in our room 303. The breakfast is bread, rolls, cheese cold meats cereal yogurt etc. Fresh coffee and tea form the lovely lady in breakfast area on the 6th floor with part being an outside terrace, very nice eating breakfast in the morning sun. We would say that this is a decent budget hotel but we would probably stay nearer to the attractions if we went back to Rome
