We had a Luxury room on the third floor, streetside. Insulation could be better, especially with the adjacent rooms. It's very disturbing waking up with because of the loud whistling of the plumbing. Nevertheless: spacious rooms (no ensuite coffee-tea), well maintained in the grandeur of the past (original lift, lots of marbel, thock carpets, ...). Bathroom a bit to small for the room. Everything spic and span! Very professional and helpfull staff, an example for many others. Breakfastroom, bar and lobby (left of the reception) all breathe the same atmosphere of grandeur. Very well situated, close to Spanish Steps, Trevi, ... I'd recommend, but ask for a room not on the streetside.

Room Tip: ask for a room not on the streetside.

We stayed at the Majestic on our first night of our honeymoon before starting a cruise in the western mediterranean. The hotel is excellent and the service was 5 stars. The hotel is spotless clean and so was the room. Spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The location is unbeatable, with multiple small cafe's and restaurants right outside the hotel's doorstep. The conceirge staff are very helpful. Everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel amongst the Leading Hotels of the World group.

I stayed at the Majestic Rome back in August 2011. It truly was majestic! We came from a disappointing hotel in Positano, so were happily surprised with The Majestic. The service was wonderful, the rooms spacious, clean, modern and beautiful. Location - can't be better. Breakfast included was also very good. I wouldn't stay anywhere else the next time I travel to Rome.

We were very lucky to have a top floor, spacious suite with a small balcony which caught the sun most of the day. The hotel is on the Via Veneto, which is a pleasant tree lined busy road leading to Villa Borghese. Lots of little restaurants on the door step.

Lovely old building which has fascinating photographs of its history from 1940's and 50's on the walls. Staff and service are superb and unobtrusive. Comfortable, welcoming, definitely recommended.

Room Tip: Room 506 - sunny balcony.

This is a typical five star hotel,of which I am sure many older couples will enjoy. It is a
traditional hotel and if I understand correctly, also very popular amongst the big stars visiting
Rome. A little bit too classical to my taste, but the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable.

Neo classical, elegant hotel with good size rooms and big beds, very conveniently located on the Via Veneto where you are spoilt for choice of restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Helpful and attentive staff were quick to make recommendations and bookings. The location was perfect for walking to any of the main sights in Rome.

We stayed there for a few nights in September 2011 (late review I know). I was planning my engagement in Rome and was in contact with the concierges to get recommendations, make reservations, etc. They were always very responsive and had great recommendations. Once my wife and I arrived to the hotel the first rate service continued. All the concierges (Faisal in particular) made our stay wonderful at every turn. They even organized a private tour of a winery just outside of Rome. Our room was excellent and well-appointed. We left to go to Venice for a couple days and they held some of our bags and made sure there were in our room upon our return. The room was nicely decorated; luxurious and just modern enough to be chic but not cold. The room in which we stayed is probably my wife's favorite ever. The location is also great. Walking distance for the Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain. Can't say enough good things about the hotel. I don't think we can stay anywhere else in Rome and look forward to our return.
