Kind of a near the last minute deal. Close to Termini Station, easy walk. A bit pricy for what you get.

Room was clean and well set up...except the power doesn't work without the key in the door slot. Meaning with the temperature being 28 during the day, there's nothing moving in the room, not even some default cooling to take the room to a nice 24 or 25 from the sun baked 30 ish that it was. Makes the sleep a bit rougher.

Good breakfast. Oh and what's with the city tax having to be paid in cash. Interesting.

Otherwise, all good really. Food around is not that special though. Take the time to go where you should based upon your research.

We recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is just lovely! It is clean, has nice decor (especially in the main lobby bar) and the staff were so helpful. The breakfast has a terrific selection and our room was very quiet (we had a queen room facing the inner court which was a great size). There is a metro line just around the corner .... line B and the A line (major train station) is only 5 min walk away. We had plenty of choice for eating at night and there is a laundromat 3 mins walk away. The bar area was perfect for our group to meet in after a long day of walking to just relax and before we headed out for dinner. The staff (Giovanni and Arber) really made our stay so enjoyable. (Also...a recommendation... if you have time...visit a place called Ostia, amazing!!! yet no-one talks about these amazing ruins. Well worth it with kids too but allow a few hours as it is big!)

I have been to Italy 4 times and always stay in Rome a few nights to relax, walk, and catch up on sleep before vernturing out to other parts of the country. Hotel Canada is the most welcoming place I have stayed yet for my Rome stayover. The hotel is a few extra blocks to the center of town, but I have never minded walking a little extra in Rome. The breakfast was fantastic, with freshly made espresso drinks and fresh-daily pastries, as well as egg dishes, sliced meats and cheeses, and fresh fruit. And the afternoon "snacks" and bar selections were often as good as we could find elsewhere in Rome. These things, combined with the elegance and comfort of the room, ensure that I will stay here again on a future visit.

Room Tip: All the rooms seemed equally elegant.

We stayed at the BW Roma on our way into and out of Italy- a total of 3 nights over two different weekends at the end of September /early October this year. It was a wonderful experience. We had a triple room to allow an extra bed for our daughter. The rooms were comfortable with an "old world" charm. We especially liked our room on our second stay ( on the 5th floor) with the 4 poster bed and oodles of space. The lobby bar/reception area is welcoming with books, maps and generally a relaxed and peaceful feeling. There are free nibblies available later in the day as you unwind with a drink from the bar. The staff were terrific in giving tourist tips and answering questions. The breakfasts ( with real cappucino- yay!) were generous and truly european. We asked for breakfast early on our check out day and a huge tray of goodies was delivered the night before to our room. Being located close to the Termini station ( literally a 10 minute walk straight up a side street from the Marsala exit) and with a metro station around the corner - this hotel is a good find in Rome. Worth every penny.

We enjoyed our stay here. The check in was done well. The room came with the old fashioned key. The key would be dropped off at the reception when we left our room for the day. This was the most romantic room of our Italy trip.
There were a number of restaurants and a pizza place nearby. Very convenient for dinners after tiring days of visiting the attractions here. The pizza was sold by the weight.
We liked the breakfast and the service at the breakfast place - good variety and home made pastries. Yummy!
Easy access to the metro. Be wary of potential pick pockets on the metro. We had two encounters with a group of young "ladies" including one with a baby. Luckily nothing was taken.

Room Tip: Select a room at the end of the corridor away from the elevator shaft and one level above lobby for...

The rooms were spacious (we had a triple room) and very elegant. The location was perfect for us, we could and did walk everywhere. Giovanni at the front desk was not only helpful but entertaining and friendly. He made great recommendations for restaurants nearby. This area is full of hotels and restaurants and felt very safe for tourists.

I assume it was my oversight not to have asked for a non-smoking room as the one unpleasant part of our stay was the lingering odor of smoke in our room.

Although we did not partake, it looked as though there was a wonderful cocktail hour with beautiful snacks.

Breakfast was entirely adequate, great coffee service.

All in all, a terrific start to a two week vacation

Room Tip: If it matters to you, ask for a noon-smoking room.

We arrived here in the early evening after a very long flight. We were welcomed warmly. given an overview of the Hotel, followed by a smooth and efficient check -in. We stretched our legs with a long walk in the balmy evening, and enjoyed the sights and smells of Rome. The bar near Reception was very restful. Our room was comfortable, quiet and we slept soundly. Breakfast was more than adequate, with professional service at all times. We look forward to a return visit.

Room Tip: book early
