We LOVED this hotel! Not only is it beautiful, in a quiet but still central location, but, it was just an all around amazing experience. Rome is so wonderful, it was easily my favorite part of the trip out of 7 destinations/ports in France, Spain & Italy. We will definitely be going back. To top it all off, the SPA at Parco Dei Principi is EXQUISITE!!!!!!! It is soooo beautiful, it's breathtaking and the service at this hotel is top notch. All in all, a 5-star experience that we would recommend to everyone!

We visited this hotel for four nights in early September. The room was extremely comfortable with a small balcony and luxury bathroom complete with a powerful Jacuzzi bath. The bed was amazingly comfortable with (not overly starched) linen sheets, towels being changed twice daily and an evening turn down service. Breakfast was everything that you would hope for in a five star hotel with a great selection of fresh produce and pleasant staff. The pool area and spa were really excellent, being well organised and efficiently run by helpful and friendly life guards. The hotel is a little out of the historical centre, taking approximately thirty minutes to walk to the Spanish steps or ten euros in a taxi - these were often waiting directly outside the hotel. However the area surrounding the hotel felt safe and we walked back on several occasions at night with no problems. The Borghese gallery is located in the parkland adjacent to the hotel and is crammed full of beautiful art works including several pieces by Bernini - tickets must be bought in advance and you can do this online prior to visiting. Anyone interested in vegetarian food may enjoy II Margutta RistorArte located on Via Margutta as we found the food, staff and surroundings to be first class.

Five of us just arrived back from a very pleasant stay at this hotel, as we checked in I mentioned that we had emailed to ask for three rooms on the same floor which they never replied too, so the very kindly upgraded up to a Deluxe rooms. The staff were pleasant and efficient and a few smiled, it's the same in most places some do some don't. Very grand rooms and the hotel is in a very nice area, the pool is superb and very well care fore.

Only had breakfast in the hotel, it was quite expensive, we took our little travel kettle so had a cuppa in the morning and for a five star I did think it should have had a tea and coffee tray. Lovely toiletries, and great towels but too much starch in the sheets, they were like cardboard but the bed was comfy but not as comfy as Caesars Palace in Vegas.
Watch out for the Roman drivers they are really mad and trying to cross the road was quite a trail.

Room Tip: Higher you go the better the view. Great restaurant five mins walk away.

Superb hotel with fantastic large outdoor pool that was great to come back to after hours of walking sightseeing. Plenty of sun beds and nice quality pool towels but sun beds had no mattresses and were very hard.

Superb luxury rooms with huge beds, and the most comfortable mattress we have slept on...it had a mattress topper! Towels changed twice a day, robes, slippers and lots of the usual toiletries. Public rooms grand and beautifully decorated and furnished. Breakfast buffet extensive with lots of choice including hot full cooked made to order.

The hotel was only let down by the impersonal staff. The reception was mostly maned by middle aged men and though answering queries adequately there was no smiles or friendly manner. It seemed that the mainly business guests were more important to them than the holiday makers like us who wanted to know where the bus stopped. Also in the hotel room literature it stated there was a free minibus to the via Venito last trip 7 pm but when we asked were told the last one was at 6 pm. When we took it during the day the driver spent the whole trip on his hand held mobile!!!!! Is there no law against this in Italy?

Room Tip: Rooms on floors 4 or 5 overlooking the park, give views over the tree tops to St. Peter's basilica in the distance...very romantic to have pre dinner drink on balcony as sun goes down

We enjoyed every minute of our 4 days stay in this fabulous hotel. Sitting at the beautiful pool for a delicious lunch or having dinner in the evening - we felt very special. - Our balcony had a very nice bistro table and chairs which we also enjoyed.
The hotel is situated in Villa Borghese up on a hill, overlooking Rome!
