My wife stayed for three nights in April. About 2 hours after she checked out she realised that she had left several expensive items of clothing in a bedside locker and important medicine behind in the fridge. The hotel was immediately informed. We were told designer clothes could not be found and the medicine had already been throw out (this despite hotel policy to keep for 48 hours, and as I later discovered no-one went to check the room until the next day)! I returned to the hotel twice to get to the bottom of the issue, that day and again the next morning. Reaction from hotel was inept and apathetic, no one seemed to care or wanted to take responsibility. After some insistance on my part, I was asked to write a letter listing the missing items and told that hotel management would deal with it ASAP. Nothing has happened and nor has a follow up email been replied too. It all appeared to be an inconvenience to the front desk and management. I suspected at the time they did not want to expore their internal issues and probability that their staff may have been involved in the disappearance, and rather hoped that we would not follow up and forget the whole issue once we left Rome. Overall appalling concern for a genunine customer complaint not what I expect from a 5 Star. We went on to stay at the Minerve in the old part of the city and had a wonderful hotel experience.

Amazing pool and SPA area. Nice room, even tough a little bit on the small side. The hotel is a bit far from the center and taxis were not always available, unless called in. Great breakfast was included in the price. .

Room Tip: Ask for an upper floor with view of the park and the city.

A nice classic hotel with charm and elegance. My wife and I stayed at this hotel from April 28th thru May 3rd, 2014. Very friendly and professional staff. The hotel rooms are very nice with great views. Hotel has good size but easy to get around. Room service outstanding and quick. A great location from downtown Rome and close many historical sites, many within walking distance. The hotel has a good very good restaurant, nice bar area, along with many lounge areas and quiet spots to relax or converse with friends. The Spa and pool area very enjoyable.

Right on the the edge of Borghese Park, this is a peaceful, quiet, heavenly location. We had a 2nd floor room with balconey facing the pool and park, and slept with the sliding door fully open with never a sound heard during the night! Seriously. Not a car, not a voice, not a sound! Incredibly peaceful at night. Rooms and baths are somewhat small but beautifull and completely comfortable. The spa has an truly awesome 25 meter pool with various relaxing water features: watersfalls for the head and shoulders, submerged comforming lounge chair with jets a bubbles surrounding it, pods with jets and bubbles coming upwards around you, strong wall jets with bars to hang on, a cold and hot tub, steam room, sauna, complete exercise facility. Best deal is the prepaid, nonrefundable rate that includes the wonderful buffet breakfest (served until 10:30 AM), the spa, and a room facing the park. Spa simple entrance (everything included) is available to any city visitor for 45 Euro and 60 Euro to include the towel, robe, slippers and the required head cap. Just one block away is the Biopark bus stop for # 610, 217 to the Termini and 52 to Barbarini Plaza. With a Rome transportation metro pass you're in business. Don't really need taxis to get around. And the park is a beautiful walk in the morning, immediately across the street! We loved the location, the beautiful spa and the serene location on the edge of the park! The desk personel were friendly and always helpful, even making phone calls for us. Will definitely return!! We give it a full five stars. (only a truly fussy person could be disappointed.)

Room Tip: Do arrange for a room facing the direction of the pool and park AND try for 5th floor and above so y...

Hotel is good and has everything you expect from a 5-star hotel, but I was a bit disapointed by the check-in. I arrived early (10.30) so it's normal I could not check-in yet, but it took me many visits to the reception and only when I was served by a supervisor that i was able to get a room (was around 13.15 by then). My company had booked a lot of rooms in the hotel and had also booked a meeting room at 13.00, so the hotel should have known i couldn't wait till 13.30 or 14.00 to get my room. Barely had time to fresh up.
Afterwards reception apparently had no idea I was in the room and gave the same room away to another person who entered my room, but saw the luggage and and my wife sobwrnt back to reception. A person from reception called and came to the room as well as he could not be able to find out I was staying in the room.
I believe this is unacceptable for a 5-star hotel.

The staff in itself was friendly and check-out was smooth. Rooms are clean and nice. Breakfast is good.
Hotel is a bit far away from the tourist attractions so you will have to make a long walk or take a taxi.

Nestled in the elite Borghese Park area of Rome, is the enchanting, quiet and
majestic Parco de Principe hotel. Its carefully manicured and kept gardens and
setting offers discerning travelers a haven in the Eternal city. Centrally located
but away from the rush and crowds of the city-center of Rome. The Parco
offers a vacation setting uncommon in Rome particularly its spectacular swimming pool,
cabanas and gardens which you would normally find in a sea-side resort.
Their staff is professional, friendly and attentive. Not to mention they are willing to
guide you and offer suggestions to all of the local attractions. Attention to detail is never overlooked in the finely appointed guest rooms, toiletries and overall upkeeping of the property.
Amazing 5-star cusine in their restaurants or perhaps just sit in their terrace and enjoy a light snack and cocktail listening to live-music in their lobby-piano bar.
Highly recommended and a must in your Roman visit!

Room Tip: garden view rooms are beautiful! - Corner suites are spacious and have wrap-around terraces for vi...

Had a great time at this quality Hotel in the eternal city. The Hotel is situated a little out of town but this proved to be bonus in the end because the walk through the park to the via veneto added to the experience. The décor of the Hotel is in "the grand style" so if that's not to your taste don't go.
The staff are attentive and efficient and we had a view of the Vatican from our balcony but the highlight is the pool and spa area, We had dinner in the restaurant on one occasion which was excellent and breakfast had something for everyone.
A memorable trip !

Room Tip: Take a travel kettle as there are no Tea/Coffee facilities in the room.
