This hotel was a pleasant surprise for us, this hotel was booked by my husband as a surprise for my 40th birthday, it was near the botanical gardens and stunning. When we arrived it was in a really quiet street, and it was a well presented boutique hotel from the outset. We had a bedroom on the same floor as the reception and stayed for 3 nights. The bed and pillows was one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in at a hotel. Other amenities in the room were clean, modern and well kept. The service at the hotel was spectactular from the reception staff, concierge and the restaurant staff in the morning. The room was made up every day, and also in the evening after dinner, which was a nice touch. The only downside which was really disappointing was the breakfast, it was an extremely poor selection of food, one of the worst we have ever experienced, such a shame because everything else in this hotel was unreal.

Stayed for 3 nights and have to say it lived up to the reviews. If you are a fan of boutique hotels then this is a serene hotel at the edge of the park. Most of the staff were very helpful and engaging. Will go back as it was just a great place to chill.

Lord Byron hotel located in a rather calm part of the city. The hotel looks more like a Art Museum with lots of elegant decorative items. At the entrance you should take some stairs to reach the lobby and reception area and also from the lobby to your room depending on the floor (of course the elevator is available) so maybe this hotel will not be suitable for old or disabled travelers. The area is quite peaceful next to a very big & beautiful park. My room was quite spacious with no view. The bathroom was large and clean but in need for some revamp since there was water leaking from bathtub. The TV channels were quite limited and boring, English channels was limited to CNN & BBC plus some 3-4 local channels, with poor picture quality due to analogue reception adjustment. The breakfast was good but can be better. The service was very good and the friendly staff were really nice and helpful. For me it was a pleasant experience. will recommend.

We've spent 3 nights in Lord Byron Hotel and it was just amazing. Our deluxe rooms were very clear and decorated in lovely Art Deco style. The staff was great, friendly and attentive. The complimentary breakfast buffet was very good. We felt very welcome and had a very pleasant stay in the Eternal City.

We have just spend another 3 nights at the Lord Byron and thoroughly enjoyed it once again. The linen on the beds is so soft. We were very glad the air conditioning worked so well seeing it was about 40 degrees outside! The rooms are well designed with the Art Deco theme being very welcoming. The walk across the park to the Spanish Steps is always a good start to a day.

What a wonderful find. A quiet location, but within easy reach of the centre. A masterclass in how a hotel should be run for discerning travellers. The room was elegant and spacious and the staff could not have been more charming or helpful. It made our recent trip to Rome complete and we shall definitely return.

just stayed at Lord Byron 3 days ago and it is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy Rome! it is not right in the center of activities but we had a car and parking near the hotel was free and a breeze. Going in the center is really easy as well and parking was never a problem (actually it is easier during the week-ends when Romans go away).
You could also rent a bike from one of the outlets 5 min away in the parc of the Villa Borghese and that would be great as well to go around.
Very nicely decorated room; everything perfectly Art Deco and very very nice art pieces everywhere; nice breakfast, very comfortable beds, nice bathrooms...
Located 5 min from the Gallery of Modern Art which is fantastic in a city full of fantastic sites; very few people inside but have an incredible collection with 2 Van Gogh (and nobody looking at them...), Modigliani, Bussoni, Klee...and no need to queue anywhere.
Fantastic!
