We just returned from 4 nights in Rome and we loved lord byron hotel, staff were so helpful and friendly, the room was really good, clean and spacious. The location is very quiet but the city is very close, 20 min walk or 5 min tram ride. We would certainly stay here again and also plan to try the sister hotel in florance in the future.

We stayed at this hotel during the first leg of our trip for three nights. It was a great boutique hotel and offered excellent service. It's a little removed from the city's center but we liked that and welcomed the exercise after those heavy Roman meals. They were really helpful with recommendations and the rooms were Beautiful. They served the best breakfast of our trip. They often have deals off of Jetsetter so check it out.

A lovley little hotel in a calm area of Rome.Big room with nice Art Deco furnitures and pictures on the walls. My wife loved the breakfast room with all paintings on the walls. The breakfast was good with everything you need. With a short walk trough the Borghese Park you are direct in the city center and in the late evning after a long day and your feets getting heavy you can take a taxi back without big costs. And when you come back to your room in the evning your room was cleaned and the nightdress was on the bed and the slippers were out by the bed too.The staff was nice and helpful if you need a taxi or just had some questions.

I spent 8 days at the Lord Byron in early September. The pictures do not do the hotel justice. It is a quiet, clean, and sparking little gem. Service from all the hotel staff is not to be beat. It is not an over the top sort of 5 star, but instead understated and elegant. This is actually one of the things noted on their "welcome" literature. In terms of location, it is much easier to get every where in Rome from the hotel than you would expect. If you don't feel like walking, a main taxi stand is at the end of the street! There are also outstanding, really outstanding restaurants within 10 minute walks or 5 minute cab rides. It is NOT a hotel for traveling with children or if you want to walk around in flip-flops and shorts. It is a hotel for quiet enjoyment of one of the world's great city's. I will return again without doubt.

Room Tip: Many of the ground floor rooms open to a private marble terrace -- it is a wonderful quiet terrace t...

This hotel was a pleasant surprise for us, this hotel was booked by my husband as a surprise for my 40th birthday, it was near the botanical gardens and stunning. When we arrived it was in a really quiet street, and it was a well presented boutique hotel from the outset. We had a bedroom on the same floor as the reception and stayed for 3 nights. The bed and pillows was one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in at a hotel. Other amenities in the room were clean, modern and well kept. The service at the hotel was spectactular from the reception staff, concierge and the restaurant staff in the morning. The room was made up every day, and also in the evening after dinner, which was a nice touch. The only downside which was really disappointing was the breakfast, it was an extremely poor selection of food, one of the worst we have ever experienced, such a shame because everything else in this hotel was unreal.

Stayed for 3 nights and have to say it lived up to the reviews. If you are a fan of boutique hotels then this is a serene hotel at the edge of the park. Most of the staff were very helpful and engaging. Will go back as it was just a great place to chill.

Lord Byron hotel located in a rather calm part of the city. The hotel looks more like a Art Museum with lots of elegant decorative items. At the entrance you should take some stairs to reach the lobby and reception area and also from the lobby to your room depending on the floor (of course the elevator is available) so maybe this hotel will not be suitable for old or disabled travelers. The area is quite peaceful next to a very big & beautiful park. My room was quite spacious with no view. The bathroom was large and clean but in need for some revamp since there was water leaking from bathtub. The TV channels were quite limited and boring, English channels was limited to CNN & BBC plus some 3-4 local channels, with poor picture quality due to analogue reception adjustment. The breakfast was good but can be better. The service was very good and the friendly staff were really nice and helpful. For me it was a pleasant experience. will recommend.
