Perfect location within walking distance to all attractions , Wonderful junior suite with a lovely terrace... Employees are very professional and helpful. a typical Romain boutique hotel, wonderful for honeymooners

One small disadvantage is room temperature! the temperature is either set to warm 23 C during winter or Air conditioning in summer! If the external temperature rises to 20 C in winter (March) the heater will always be turned on in your room and set to 23C can´t switch manually to air conditioning! have to sleep with open windows

Recommend this hotel to all

Room Tip: The Junior suite is wonderful (561)

Massimo is this hotel's jewel. He is the kind of concierge who will make sure that you enjoy Rome in exactly the way that YOU want to- rather than the way someone else thinks you ought to!
Everything in our path was smoothed- a private guide was produced, with tickets for the Colosseum underground tour at short notice.
Excellent suggestions for places to have evening drinks, dinner and lunch pitstops were made.

I felt as though I saw Rome through the eyes of an insider, which is exactly how you would hope a concierge would help.

The hotel itself is "old school traditional". The room was very compact and subject to street noise, as is often the case in Rome. The marble bathroom, by comparison was spacious and luxurious.

I have to be frank. I have stayed in single room. The room was small and a bit tired, definitely not 5 stars. But otherwise nicely furnished with a huge bathroom. The staff is extremely nice (thank you again for everything). decor of the hotel is beautiful and location can not be better. Breakfast is standard. Prices are high, but not excessivly so for the locations. Overall very good experience, would recommend...

We picked the d'Inghilterra as a special treat for my 60th birthday, wanting that 5 star luxury the occasion demanded. It was utterly charming, with courteous, warm and friendly staff. The food was excellent, if a little pricey, but probably in keeping with Rome and the type of hotel. Ideally situated to reach all the main attractions, Spanish Steps mere yards away, Trevi, Colosseum and the Forum in easy walking distance - not to mention the shops. The room was comfortable and well equipped, albeit not as roomy as we'd expected; the shower was very cramped n- reception explained all showers were limited in size because of the age of the hotel. This didn't detract too much from a wonderful few days in a lovely and characterful hotel in a beautiful city.

Room Tip: Upgrade room if possible - we were supposed to have a free upgrade, but no superior rooms were avail...

Lovely setting, perfect location and outstanding service! My daughter and i just returned from a week's stay, during which we were joined by other family members and friends, for a total of three rooms. Upon our arrival we were greeted warmly, and every effort was made to accommodate our room preferences. The concierge, Massimo Mazzola and his staff went out of their way to ensure our visit to Rome was perfect. They made us reservations at lovely restaurants each night, ensuring we avoided "tourist" eateries and were respectful of our price points. The concierge staff assisted us with directions, helping us map out our routes for the day, arrange tickets to the Borghese Museum and arranged a guide for us for the Coliseum and Roman Forum. Each day when we returned from our wanderings, they greeted us warmly, inquiring about what we had seen and done in our travels. The staff was like a warm and welcoming family, striving to ensure that we had an outstanding experience, both within the hotel and in exploring the city. The downstairs has beautiful sitting rooms, several evenings we were able to enjoy dessert or drinks in a private space. The breakfast buffet was delicious, which made it easy to enjoy a quick meal and cappuccino before we left for the day. The hotel is truly a gem, an oasis of in the center of a busy city. We miss it already!

This was the most charming, chic hotel in the perfect location! I loved the beautiful rooms, the cozy bar, the wonderful breakfast ~ all off the charts! The staff was so
warm & friendly. They event sent up Prosecco to my room for my birthday!
The concierge Massimo Mazzola made us so comfortable & took care of every
need & booking. We spent a week, but it wasn't long enough!

Have just come back from this hotel which didn't disappoint at any level. It was my partner's 60th birthday and the occassion was marked by a cake delivered to the room from the hotel which was delicious. The cafe was possibly one of the best meals we had whilst staying in Rome and we tried a few! If you want something simpler and don't want to walk miles just round the corner is a bar/cafe called Ginger, very good service and food at very reasonable prices. All in all this hotel lived up to it's excellent reputation.

Welcoming staff, beautiful hotel, superb location what more is there to say!
