“A nice stay”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 November 2013

We stayed in the annex, which we found very comfortable. Clean, spacious, and nice touches. What others have said before about the staff here I have to echo...they were great, very helpful and particularly a nice welcome experience to Italy. Hotel is nicely located...you can walk to many of the places you will want to go see, and on top of that, the metro is about as close as you can get, plus there are a line of taxis practically across the street.

Just came back from an amazing experience in Rome. After researching hotels, we chose this one, and we are so glad we did. The staff were great! Very welcoming. We even got a free room upgrade on one of the rooms. We stayed in deluxe rooms and had a suite. The rooms were beautiful, and, fortunately, temperature controlled because it was unseasonably warm. The rooms were comfortable, especially the beds. The hotel is located on a busy plaza, but the rooms were quiet. The plaza was actually a convenience because there is both a metro stop and a taxi stand right there. It was within walking distance of many of the major sights and, when it wasn't, it was easy to get where you wanted to go (except for the crazy Roman traffic!). The breakfast was awesome. Everything showed personal attention. They even made designs in the foam on our morning cups of cappucino! Highly recommended.

The Barocco Hotel was the second stop on our honeymoon and was a perfect followup from our quiet location in Amalfi. The location was prime for walking to just about any attraction or restaurant. The staff and room accomodations met and surpassed our expectations. They even surprised us with a complimentary bottle of champagne on our last night! Overall, I would highly recommend Barocco.

I have been to Rome many times but this hotel was the best I had stayed at. Great breakfast with a selection of buffet and freshly cooked food. The annex was well appointed, it was quiet which was amazing given the location. The hotel is near the Spanish steps and Trevi Fountain, opposite a metro station. It is easy to access the hotel from the airport, to Termini then 2 stops on the metro. There are some very nice restaurants near the hotel.

The Barocco Hotel is a beautiful boutique hotel in the center of Rome. Great central location. We were able to walk to many restaurants, museums and archeological sites. We spent 3 nights there, the staff and service were excellent. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. Enjoyed each day there.

I have very little to add to the reviews already written about this wonderful boutique hotel. This was our first trip to Rome and La Barocca added to the pleasure. We entered our room with trepidation having read comments on here about how small the rooms were. Although not the biggest our room (room14) was plenty big enough, beautifully furnished and clean with the added touches of welcoming fruit, water and flowers. The bathroom was equally stunning although the mood shower took some working out but once functioning, a wonderful experience.

Breakfast was amazing, such a variety of sweet and savoury, I could have stayed all day!

However it is the staff that makes this hotel: nothing is too much trouble, from recommendations for restaurants, arranging a private airport transfer, ensuring we fussy sleepers had firm pillows or anything else for that matter.

We loved every minute in Rome and will return and definitely to La Barocca.

An excellent boutique hotel with extremely high standards and service quality. My mother and I had a quiet single room each and the bathrooms were clean and up-to-date. The staff could not have been kinder and we were treated to extras on several occasions! The breakfast buffet was lovely and hot food could be ordered from a menu at no extra cost. The location was ideal for travelling around Rome and there is a taxi rank in the Piazza Barberini. The hotel also offered a taxi call service and we used it to go to restaurants and museums. We hope to return to the Barocco Hotel to see some more of Rome's treasures. It was a pleasure to be in such a welcoming environment. Thankyou to all the staff.
