barocco is a great hotel, with a new top modern standard, and it is located close to everything! we felt so taken in, and the staff was excellent, helping us with practical and guiding around the city!
we will be back for sure!

Room Tip: try to choose a room facing the side alley, they are a bit quieter at night

Great location and professional staff. The staff helped make our first trip to Rome an unforgettable experience. They were very friendly and offered accurate recommendations for restaurants. The breakfast was delicious and offered a wide spread of choices. We would definitely recommend and hope to return soon.

My daughter and I stayed at the Barocco Hotel 4 nights and found the hotel location, service and staff exceptional! We were within walking distance to Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, and public transportation, and of course wonderful restaurants and shopping. Upon arrival we found fresh fruit in our room, and on our last night a personal thank you note for choosing their hotel along with delicious sweets. In addition due to our very early departure on our last day, a light breakfast tray of yogurt, fresh orange juice and pastries were brought to our room. The staff could not have been nicer and were extremely helpful in arranging a couple of tours for us as well as a limo for our 5:00 am trip to the airport. Oh, and can't forget the free outstanding breakfasts - what a great way to start your day!! Cannot say enough of a great stay.

Room Tip: Our room was just perfect - choose Barocco and know you are in good hands.

After a lot of research on places to stay, my girlfriend and I decided to book Hotel Barocco for 3 nights in a Deluxe Double room based on its excellent location and its rating on TripAdvisor. The hotel itself isn't very big, but don't let that put you off as its definitely a case of quality not quantity here. The room we stayed in was a decent size, had a 4 post bed and a very large double sized chromatic shower. There was also a bottle of wine, fresh flowers and fruit plus a card wishing my girlfriend a happy birthday! I've never before seen attention to detail like it. Our window opened up onto the Piazza Barberini which was beautiful. The breakfast menu is top quality with a large selection of coffees and eggs anyway you want them. The staff were so helpful in organising restaurants and taxis etc for us and made us feel very special. Overall, Hotel Barocco was without doubt the best hotel I've ever stayed in, and that's by a long stretch. We'll definitely be back!

We stayed here 4 nights for our 3rd wedding anniversary . Nice and clean with friendly helpful staff and great location in the center of Rome. Right next to the metro but also a big taxi rank and the stops for the hop on/hop off tourist buses. The room was a bit small but its an ancient city. You`d never get big american sized rooms unless you spent a lot of money indeed.
Breakfasts are free and they have a nice, cold buffet out for you each morning and hot food available on request. Also every day is a special local breakfast dish. from potatoes with herbs to the spicy meatball !
Rather than give you a door card you get a big key fob that you give back when your out. This should mean that they know when you are out and can clean the room then. however we did get the maid walk in on us twice so maybe that doesn`t work so well. Also with just the one key my wife needed waking up from her nap when i came back from strolling about on my own. But this is a minor thing. Overall a very nice place.

I took my 15 year-old daughter to Rome for a special mother-daughter treat, and we had a delightful stay at the Hotel Barocco. Clean and beautiful room, great location, delicious complimentary breakfast, and extremely helpful front desk staff all contributed to making this the perfect choice for a hotel in Rome. We stayed in the "annex," and although at first blush the room seemed a bit small, it turned out to be just fine for our needs. To my delight, although very near the Piazza Barberini our room in the Barocco was much quieter than the hotel where I had stayed in during an earlier visit to Rome. We booked a tour to Pompeii through the front desk staff, and when they realized that we would be leaving in the morning before breakfast was served, they sent up a tray with a continental breakfast the night before the tour so that we would have something to eat. Really thoughtful! There are also some good restaurants within a short walk of the hotel, and lots of shopping (great for a girls' trip). I highly recommend the Hotel Barocco.
