“Great stay”

The front desk was so helpful for every aspect of the stay including restaurant suggestions and making the reservations for us, booking transportation, helping us with tickets, or any request we could have. Would definitely return next time in Rome.

We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights and had a wonderful time. The location is perfect, so everything is walking distance and the rooms were lovely - great decor, comfy and clean. There was the occasional sound of running water through pipes but that didn't really bother us.

Most remarkable were the staff - from the moment we arrived, they were friendly and helpful. On the morning we were due to checkout, I was unwell and we asked at that point for a late checkout so I didn't have to spend hours in a cafe waiting to go to the airport. They immediately agreed, booked a cab for the airport and just before the taxi came, offered complimentary beverages as I had missed breakfast. I couldn't thank them enough for making the last bit of my trip hassle-free when I was feeling so poorly.

I would highly recommend this hotel - great rooms, great location and above all, great staff!

Don't judge the hotel by its lobby, they were smart...small lobby but it exceed expectations everywhere else. The rooms are a great size, as well as the bathrooms. the service was amazing, always accommodating to any need. The location is great, right near the metro. a very small walk to the Spanish Steps....a great starting point to take a romantic walk thru the city and the piazzas.

The Metro was very easy to use and right across the street from the hotel.

the food was excellent, the room rate comes with free breakfast...it was outstanding.

AC worked perfectly, was great to come back to the room to a nice cool room.

Hotel Barocco and it's staff was a big part of fantastic experience and a wonderful trip to Rome, the advise and the helpful nature of the front desk was priceless. The breakfast was varied with a choice of hot or cold, a great start to the day.
Rooms were cosy and very clean, beds were very comfortable, only criticism, would like to see coffee and tea facilities, location was spot on for all attractions.
Thanks to all. Gallagher's

This hotel was great for our party of 6 adults. The room was spacious, bed great, bathroom spacious and nice in marble. Shower had blue LED lights! The bar was perfect for before or after dinner drinks. The breakfast was fast and made to order was good as well as the morning buffet for a quick bite! The front desk staff were always friendly and willing to help. I can't say enough good things about this hotel ... everything was great! We would definitely stay here again when in Rome!

The location of this lovely hotel was brilliant, clean and comfortable rooms, small though but if you are in Rome you will not be spending much time indoors! The breakfast was AMAZING and really sets you up for a day of exploring an amazing city. close to shops, sights and the metro.

We found the hotel on a travel sight and were not sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised! Prior to our stay, we contacted the staff via e-mail asking about transportation from the airport. Their response was quick and they arranged car service to an from the hotel which is great when you are arriving to an unfamiliar city after a long airline flight.

The lobby was clean and the staff met us with a smile. Other reviews have commented on the size of the lobby, but I am not sure why. The lobby is "small" but how long are you going to stay there anyways?! There are also several other sitting areas accessible too.

The room (Deluxe) was clean, quiet and we were met with a fresh bowl of fruit. The bed was extremely comfortable. The pillows were good by hotel standards. My parents had the regular room which was quite a bit smaller, so if a large room is important to you then you may want the Deluxe room. We were in the back of the hotel and it was quiet.

The hotel is nearby everything in the PIazza Baberini. It's steps away from the Metro which can take you to the Vatican and Colosseum. One night we requested a cab which arrived literally in seconds. There is pharmacy close by in case you need it.

The staff spoke English which was great. They were able to give us several recommendations for restaurants and would set up reservations for you. Most of the recs were more authentic and away from the touristy places nearby. We wanted to take our parents to a Thank You dinner, and even before our stay the hotel sent us a list of places via e-mail ranging from less expensive cafes to the Michelin star restaurants.

They have a breakfast each morning with a large number of options including meats, cheeses, cereal, pastries. You can also request eggs and coffee/cappuccinos, all included.

On our last day, we left extremely early (4 AM). The staff arranged to have pastries and juice in our room the night before so that we would have something to eat. That morning, the staff offered to grab us some coffee.

We would absolutely stay there again and would recommend this hotel to couples, families or anyone looking for a good experience.

Room Tip: If room size is important to you, consider the Deluxe room it is larger than the regular room. But...
