Located in the north of the city, in a quiet residential neighbourhood, about 6 stops on the #3 and #19 Tram from Policlinico where you can get the Metro B line. Continental in design, the superior rooms are more close tothe thee U.S. standard sized room, very well appointed, excellent and helfpul staff, good breakfast buffet and convenient to a group of restaraunts around the circle this is a nice place to stay out of the way! You are outside the old walls so taxi from Fiumicino is a little more, but cabbing in the city is going to run from 10-25 euros, otherwise get the three day ROMA pass at the Tabachii around the corner, includes access to the site s and tram and metro!

Wanted a convenient hotel outside of central Rome. Easily used convenient trams and buses with guidance from helpful hotel staff. We enjoyed a great visit to Rome and a real daily life experience in a safe local neighborhood near the Villa Borghese.

This property is about 25 minutes outside of central Rome, but the tram stop is in front of the property and bus stops are nearby. The hotel provides great maps/detailed print outs on catching public transport to major sites and central Rome.

The rooms are small, but updated/new and very clean. There is a mini fridge in the room and grocery store across the street.

The concierge was not very helpful in providing restaurant suggestions. However, I would recommend this property to others and stay here again. Overall, my expectations were met.

This hotel is situated in a nice quiet neighborhood in Roma. The staff were very helpful. Room was newly furbished, wifi was fast and the facilities were excellent. Hotel is 2mins away from the tram station to take us to Vatican, and it is also a walkable distant to Villa Borghese. Awesome hotel! No complaints! And as a big bonus it has an amazing restaurant next door! Grazie mille I'm coming back!! ;)

We spent 3 nights at the Claridge on points after a cruise. I have been to Rome before and enjoyed staying outside of the main tourist areas in a more residential area. We arrived early before checkin and were greeted very pleasantly. We had coffee in the bar area (and were given a complimentary croissant) and then we were told our room was ready about 40 mins later. Our room was fine (a bit small) overlooking the front of the hotel which is pleasantly shaded by trees. We did not have an issue with noise as some have mentioned. We had a balcony that we enjoyed sitting on. This hotel is further out but we knew that going there. We used trams all the time. I love taking local transportation - mostly locals in this area with a few tourists thrown in. There is a stop right in front of the hotel to your left. The #19 will take you to the Vatican. Either the #19 or the #3 will take you to the Bioparco stop for the Borghese Gallery. Be sure and validate your ticket in one of the machines on the tram. The hotel will give you a list of the tram lines and stops. The hotel sells tram tickets but one time they ran out. You can buy them at a Tabac. The Tabac also sells stamps. There is one across the street close to the pharmacy & Rossini's Restaurant. They are usually marked by a "T" but It is hard to spot because of construction and took us a while. The hotel does not sell stamps but will mail your cards. They will also arrange a car for pickup to the airport. There is a grocery across the street called Tigre. We found that very handy and bought wine, crackers & cheese there. A bank with ATM is also across the street. There are a few restaurants close by that we tried. We ate at Rossini's across the street a couple of times. They have a sit down restaurant and also a self-serve at lunch if you are brave enough to try. We liked their pizza (thin crust) and also white house wine for E2.50 a glass. There is also a nice mozzarella bar a little past Rossini's. It is called Obika and has a great spinach & pecorino salad with freshly shaved prosciutto. The portion is quite large - enough for 2. We split this with focaccia and it was a great meal. They have a larger selection of wine than Rossini's but it is more expensive. We enjoyed our 3 days in Rome and also the experience of being in a more local area.
