“Good location”
Reviewed 11 August 2013

Good location, near train station and restaurants. Hotel was cleaned but very noisy. Breakfast was very good. Air condition was good for summer. Staffs were o.k. Some is nice, some is not. Helpful if you need to arrange for tours.

Room Tip: Non smoking and stay far from lift.

The hotel is located in a quiet good neighborhood of Rom. Not in the center, but within walking distance from charming Villa Borghese.
It was comfortable, clean, well maintained. Breakfast had some variety of bread, cereals, eggs, fruits and sweets.
The only problem was the Wi-Fi internet that was not reachable in our room. These days good Wi-Fi is essential and it is an important criteria – which was promised in the hotel site. Unfortunately it was available only in the central areas.
I hope the hotel staff is checking these messages and will take care of it, we are frequent visitors in Rom and this hotel could become our first choice…

Room Tip: Ask for a room with strong Wi-Fi signal.

Hotel on a dead end street. Hotel was being remodeled on the outside. Sign for hotel sign wasn't easy to find because was sitting on ground. Air condition wasn't working in our room. Told front desk people and still wasn't working when we left. Staff didn't seem very friendly.

We stayed here for one night and in the past have liked staying at various boutique hotels under the Best Western banner in Europe so expected a nice stay. However, the rooms were dark, outdated, and the shower was horrible - I could not get any hot water, and my wife had water go from cold to scalding hot. We were on the main floor so it was fairly noisy, and the hotel is being upgraded, at least outside, so there's work going on during the day and construction people working outside your room. Breakfast was decent, but was a bit of a fight for food. However, we found the staff to be pleasant, prompt and helpful.

Room Tip: Ask to get a room that's not on the main floor.

A very nice small hotel at a moderate price in a great high-end neighborhood. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with a balcony; staff very helpful in giving information and arranging private excursions; breakfast varied and copious in a pleasant dining area. We slept very well and comfortably, despite construction on one side of the hotel (which didn't affect us) and an elementary school facing our room across the street (with the balcony doors closed we could hardly hear the children arriving, departing, or playing at the school entrance). Best of all was the neighborhood location: off of Bruno Buozzi on a hillside just north of the Villa Borghese. It is a very quiet neighborhood with adequate amenities: a square nearby with a taxi stand; another square with shops, a Carrefour supermarket, and an adjoining street with great restaurants, from Continental (Restaurant Gli Olivi) to Chinese/Japanese/Korean (Restaurant Chikutei), the latter with a fabulous selection of eastern dishes (also for takeout) at incredibly moderate prices. A bus goes down the hill to connect with two tram lines, one that goes directly to the north side of the Vatican and in the other direction takes you right into the museum area of the Villa Borghese grounds. It is an excellent location for those who don't want a noisy, bustling, tourist-filled and tourist-oriented area of Rome.

Room Tip: See main commentary above with respect to room choice.
