This is a lovely hotel and the staff were absolutley lovely - each night when we returned to the hotel the man on reception asked us if we had enjoyed our day. There is a nice lounge area with a bar which we sat in every night to plan the next day. The only problem with this hotel is the location - to get to central Rome you have to take a bus from the main street (no 334) and metro ride (From Rebbiba) which took us around about an hour, however, the journey wasn't too bad. The bus does take quite a big detour through an estate so don't panic.
If this hotel was closer it would be perfect, it's only (minor) issue is the distance from central Rome. I would definitly reccommend this hotel if you don't mind the commute. We found that the commute allowed us to see how the people of Rome really live - the locals were very helpful when we looked a little puzzled looking for a bus stop etc.
There is a Lidl store across the main road where the bus stop is which is quite handy if you want to get some cheap drinks - we got a six pack of bottled water for 76 cents which saved us loads of money as the stands in Central Rome charge 3-4 Euros a bottle.More
