I was really excited to go to this hotel after staying at the other end of Rome for a couple of nights. First impression the foyer is a lovely step back in time. The room they put us in was very basic with no view but a brick wall (we had booked the hotel after seeing pics of the views over the forum) next morning we were woken early by workmen renovating the hotel & had to stride over rubble/tools to go to breakfast! The terrace where this is served is amazing with fab views of Rome. Staff were friendly & breakfast was lush. I must say the location is amazing just a shame no view from room :-(

We thank you for your kind review and we apologize for the noice due to the rennovating works, that are nearly finished.
We would like to be able to give rooms with view to all of our guests but it's unfortunatelly impossible! Only the Superior and Deluxe rooms have the view, but all our guests have the possibility to admire the wonderful view on the Roof Garden for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Very close to the Coliseum, the forum, the Palatine, this is a very nice hotel in the heart of it all. The staff were very courteous, the breakfast served on the rooftop was quite good and had great views.

All in all, a very enjoyable stay.

We stayed here for 4 nights, it was our first time in Rome, what a lovely hotel in a excellent location just minutes from the colleseum. The staff was very friendly, we was upgraded to a suite, and the room was on the 4th floor, it was beautiful, thankyou so much for a great stay!!

The room was spacious enough, warm and well decorated. The view from the 4th flour was fantastic!A corner room with a view to the Trajan's forum !!Everyday we had our room cleaned. Tηe bathroom was spacious with exact the same view!! THe location of the hotel is fantastic! In the middle of the imperial Rome!!The wifi was working just fine!! Breakfast buffet was very good! I
f you ask me the disadvantages I would say. 1)The price. Both room and breakfast were a little bit expensive, 2) something minor: I asked for a double bed and there were 2 single beds pushed together under a double sheet with 2 quite used single mattresses!

Room Tip: corner rooms in every flour have the best view!!

We stayed for 5 days .To get up each morning and have breakfast in the restaurant is a wonderful
Experience. The breakfast staff were lovely especially the lady who helped with my medication.
The room was cleaned very well everyday, with the bedding changed.
Had a lovely evening meal overlooking the Forum, again good service.
The reception did everything we asked them to do.Perhaps a smile helps?
The location is second to none in Rome.
Yes maybe the rooms need furniture updates but who cares!

We had conference meeting at this hotel and I have only good feelings about it. Very cosy rooms, delicious food, very friendly staff. The conference room met all the requirements. Though one had to go out the hotel and enter the next door to get into the conference room it wasn't a trouble. The bar at the hotel served one of the tastiest limonchellos I've ever tried.

i stayed here for three nights in October '13 the room was clean and tidy but a bit dark. The staff at the reception were not that friendly however the staff in the restaurant were nice. The hotel is located in the middle of the Roman Forum and a short walk to most attractions. Some very nice restaurants located within a couple of minutes walk.
