“Fantastic, beautiful hotel near everything!!!!”
Reviewed 24 February 2014

We stayed here for 1 night only on our way home after a visit through Italy. It was a really wonderful hotel with tons of charm and a beautiful rooftop restaurant which is covered and heated in the winter. The views from the restaurant are unbelievable, overlooking the forum ruins. It is a 5 minute walk to the colliseum and a million fabulous restaurants so it was a perfect place to stay. The breakfast buffet was really good...the only one during our tour through Italy with bacon and scambled eggs!! We were given welcome drinks of prosecco our first night and our room was fantastic. We had a two room, 2 bathroom suite so we could let the kids have their own space and own tv. I only wish we could have stayed longer....we didn't have time to visit the gorgeous little bar on the first first floor that looked like it was straight out of a movie. Next time we will stay longer....and it is likely we could walk and see most things in Rome from this great spot!! Highly recommend!!!

Room Tip: If you need extra space, ask for rooms 218/219 which adjoin behind a single door and are connected b...

The hotel is comfortable and could not be located in a better place for most of the attractions in Rome. We booked a Superior Double and we were a little surprised at the size as it was a bit on the small side but as you don't spend much time in it we didn't mind too much. Bed was comfortable, over bath shower was ok, room was too hot so we turned off the heating.

The staff are excellent and could not do enough for you.

Be aware that they advertise parking but there is a charge!

Room Tip: Superior double was smaller than expected so I would go up a standard if you need room.

Dear Sir,
We are happy to read that you enjoyed the Hotel Forum.
Regarding the rooms, the hotel is a building of the 18th century and it was a convent and all the rooms have different size.
Our staff is always happy to help the guests for any request.
Hope to see you back!

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Hotel Forum. Approximately a 30 minute taxi ride from the Airport located at the Roman Forum. The welcome from the reception staff was very friendly and we were escorted to our superior room on the 4th floor. Our room view overlooked the Roman Forum so we were very pleased with our room. All the main attractions are within walking distance, Colosseum is a 5-10 minute walk away, Pantheon a 15 minute walk, Trevi Fountain a 20 minute walk and the Spanish Steps approx 30 minutes. We even walked to the Vatican but we think we took the scenic look!!! Breakfast is on the rooftop restaurant with an excellent view over Rome. The choice of food was good with hot scrambled egg, bacon, cheese, cold meat, yoghurts, fresh fruit, cakes etc....The restaurant staff were always very friendly and helpful. Overall an excellent stay at this 4 star hotel and would recommend it to anyone who fancies a break in Rome.

I booked this hotel for a group of 7 couples, one of which was in a wheelchair, and we were all very happy with our stay at the Hotel Forum. The front desk took very good care of us, and gave us upgraded rooms where possible. It was lovely waking up to the view of the forum in the morning. I would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for the great service!

We have stayed in many Rome hotels in the past but this one has to be my favourite. The decor is classic Italian and the bedrooms clean and comfortable.
Staff in the dining room were extremely helpful and the views were unbeatable.
It is in a perfect location near the Colosseum. Would definitely choose this hotel again.

Hotel Forum is located literally right next to the roman forum and a very short walk to the colosseum and King Victor Emannuel monument. The rooftop bar offered great views at night as did the breakfast room. The room itself was small but nice, the bed was fine but the air conditioning went off whenever your key card was removed from its slot when you left during the day. The staff was mixed, some were more attentive than others. The inside of the hotel is more victorian than modern which I liked. Overall I would recommend the hotel forum for its location.

Room Tip: If you want to look at the forum better bring it up when booking.

the roof top bar should not be missed, no reservation needed just get there for sunset and sit back with a glass of wine and enjoy the view. Good service at the bar and a very relaxed atmosphere......
