“Good hotel; very good location”
Reviewed 2 August 2014

Stayed here in early July on first part of a 2 week trip to Italy. All the prior write-ups on this hotel were quite accurate. The hotel itself is fine but nothing remarkable. The front desk and service was actually quite and they were very helpful with logistics, etc. Given that we were out touring every day, we needed a decent hotel in a great location in a nice area. This location, Via Veneto, is one of the prettiest streets in Rome. Breakfast was in a comfortable room and was OK but nothing remarkable. The coffee was hideous. Tip: Eat at Osteria Barberini which is a little place just around the corner - it was marvelous! Make a reservation.

Room Tip: We had no problem with the noise as others have stated but if sensitive to that then just ask for a...

Hotel' s location is very convient, because it is near to piaza de Spagnia and the metro stop, Barberini is 50m away. Hotel's staff is very kind and friendly. The breakfast and the restaurant's menu were very tasteful. The rooms were very clean and they are very beautifully decorated.

Well trained and accommodating reception staff, quick fixing of shower problem, good, plentiful food and made to feel very welcome at all time. Trevi fountain out of action and heard that it will be a long time to be fixed. Other attractions goo.

I just spent a couple of days at this hotel. The location you can not beat!!!! Easy access to shopping and restaurants. Staff was wonderful also. Although the rooms were real small, it was a good overall stay!

hotel imperiale is in a good location, about 10 minutes walk from the Trevi Fountain (which is now under construction), the rooms are nice although a bit old. the shower is a beautiful. unfortunately the shower head is located exactly to where there isn't glass so after the shower the floor is very wet. the breakfast recurs everyday and is not very varied. staff is really nice and helpful. at the end you have to consider what is important to you in an hotel on Rome - if you want to stay in the hotel you should go to another place, but if you are coming to travel and just sleep in the hotel or rest, it is a nice place with good restaurants nearby.

Room Tip: ask for a quiet room.

Besides the rooms being small, the hotel was quite nice. Centrally located where you can walk almost everywhere. The breakfast room was OK but definitely tailored to Europeans, not Americans. Too much pastries!!! The tub was a decent size with a nice shower head. Very clean and decorated lovely.

Just back from 4 nights at this hotel which was ideally located to Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps and the Metro. Room large, with balcony and street view. Staff very helpful especially after we had been victims of pick pocketing on the Metro.
Breakfast was as expected and whilst our evening meal was good , didn't think it warranted the price, despite the 10% discount given to residents. There are several other cheaper restaurants within a 10 minute walk with even nicer food.

Room Tip: If you want a quiet room choose one overlooking the rear, however front rooms great for watching ita...
