Big, clean, impersonal, very close to termini (convinient if you arrive late or leave early), close to colosseo +++.
Not the friendliest staff.
During my holiday in Rome I stayed at 5 different places. This was the second most expensive. The location was somewhat better than the cheaper ones, as was the breakfast and design, but all in all I would not go here again. You can find smaller, family run establishments that are really friendly and cosy at a substanitally better price. The drawback with the cheaper ones is that you have to walk 5 min extra to get into the city centre. On the positive side that allows you time for an extra gelato on your way home :)
If I compare hotel Genova to the more expensive of the hotel I stayed at, it is lightyears away from that standard. In conclusion I would say the hotel is good, but lacks a wow effect to be worth spending the extra euros. It's impersonal and the staff does not contribute to making it more friendly, so I dont think it gives you good value for your money.
