“It's all true...A wonderful experience”
Reviewed 9 August 2013

This property had so many good reviews on every travel website that we figured that some of them just had to be exaggerated. Nope...it's all true. The staff was unbelievably helpful and spoke perfect English. The free breakfast buffet rivaled any that we've found at any hotel and the accommodations were roomy, bright, and well designed. They had a lot of fun high tech things to play with, like a bluetooth keyboard for my iPad and a digital security system that turned off the appliances when you left the room and displayed a Do Not Disturb light outside the room. We were even given a choice of 10 free morning newspaper delivered to our door! The neighborhood is safe and walkable with lots of shops, sights, and restaurants nearby. The only minor drawback is that the mattress was too firm for our taste.

The Artemide Hotel is a gem and I would stay there again in a heartbeat. An excellent value in a great location, great staff, and wonderful amenities. You will not be disappointed.

We stayed at this hotel at the end of July with our teenage children and were upgraded on our arrival to the new rooms on the 7 th floor near the rooftop bar. The rooms were fabulous they were immaculate and very modern we particularly liked the spa bath in our room ,brilliant after a long day walking in Rome. The free mini bar was also very welcome. We found the staff friendly and the reception was very helpful booking the art gallery at the Villa Borghese for us . We would definitely stay here again as its location is superb and the hotel staff are great , breakfast was good too!

Great stay. Hotel staff were extremely helpful, room was good size and cleaned daily, breakfast was fantastic. Location is just GREAT, 15 min walk to Colesseum and Trevi Fountain, lots of restaurants off the main street, free mini bar. English speaking staff, especially Valentina were just extremely helpful and eager to please. Can't say enough about this hotel. This was my first trip to Europe and they made me feel at home. Just a great experience

This break was for my daughters 21st birthday treat, what a treat it was. We arrived early and our room was ready so we could have a rest before we set out. The room was a good size and VERY clean. There was a mini bar that was stocked up each day all for free! This was very welcome so after a hot day you knew there was always a cold drink waiting for you without having to find a supermarket to get a drink. The staff couldn't do enough for you, very helpful if you needed any advice on anything. The location is perfect we found we could walk to most places.
I would most defiantly recommend this hotel to anyone and will be returning myself.

Room Tip: We had a top floor room it was very quiet

My husband and I stayed here in May/June 2012. We loved this hotel. It is close to everything and the service is fabulous. The staff were very friendly and made our stay pleasant. The roof top lounge with bar and restaurant was perfect for an afternoon glass of wine or prosecco after site seeing. I would highly recommend this hotel

We stayed here five nights recently on our first visit to Rome. The rooms are on the small side, but the bathroom we had was very good size. Not much closet or storage space, but the location, breakfast and staff made up for any shortcomings in the room. We could easily walk or catch the Metro to where ever we needed to go. There is a lot of shopping around the hotel and places to eat. The breakfast buffet had many items and their bread, pastries and ricotta cheese where very good. Our room was not very quiet being on the 6th floor, under the restaurant, we heard lots of noise in the night time. But we did have an interior room and it was free of traffic noise. We would stay here again, but on a different floor.

Room Tip: Request a room that is not on the 6th floor under the restaurant.

This hotel is in a good location to walk to most of the sights, Fountain of Trevino, Spanish Steps etc. ask for a room in the rear of the building as the hotel faces a busy street and those rooms are quite noisy. The breakfast has a nice selection of both hot and cold items on the buffet. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Do not walk to the train station with your luggage as it is more than 10 minutes and very far.
