“Superb hotel”
Reviewed 2 December 2013

We stayed at the Artemide for my partners 40th birthday. It was ideally located close to the centre of Rome. The hotel itself was incredibly nice. The staff were very nice and helpful and the beds were very comfortable. The in-room fridge was restocked daily (for free!) and there was nothing not to like about the hotel, staff and the trip overall. Highly recommended.

3rd trip to Rome, 3rd hotel. Location is good and although near the train station that did not create any issues.

Room was clean although like many hotel rooms in Europe it wasn't spacious but it was as advertised. I really don't understand the half shower doors, seems more water gets out of the shower than stays in but other than that bathroom was updated and clean.

Front desk staff was professional although not overly outgoing or friendly which was different than other hotels we have stayed at in Italy.

We were in Rome at the beginning of November and it was relatively warm which made getting the room at a comfortable temperature difficult, I believe the AC had been turned off for the season so the only way to get the temperature comfortable was to leave the window open but noise and light were problematic. It wasn't a huge problem but did make it difficult to sleep through the night without getting up and adjusting something.

Breakfast was good, thought the coffee was some of the best I have ever had.

We did have drinks at the rooftop lounge a number of times and the service as a little hit or miss, think we may have been there while they were prepping for dinner. We ate dinner one evening at the hotel at it was very good.

All in all a good hotel in a good location.

We just returned from Rome after spending a week at the Artemide. It is a very good hotel. The rooms are a bit small (which is typical for European hotels), but ours (we had two) were spotless, well-appointed, and comfortable. The staff was professional and very helpful. We had a good rate for seven nights that included free WIFI, free continental breakfast each morning, and free use of the mini-bar (soft drinks, snacks, and beer). The hotel is located in the Monti neighborhood near many good restaurants and convenient to the Forum. The street on which the hotel is located (Via Nazionale) is a busy thoroughfare, but we heard absolutely no street noise on the third floor. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay and we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful, clean, great location. We were lucky to recieve a junior suite but even if we didn't have the extra room, my wife and I would have been extremely satisfied with the amenities of this hotel. We were in Italy for a week, stayed in 3 different places and this was by far the best. Love the rooftop restaurant and bar.

My family and I spent 3 days in Rome in late nov and enjoyed the Artemide. It is situated on Via Nazionale which is a decent shopping street, 5 minutes from a subway station and reasonable walking distance from the coliseum, Trevi fountain and Spanish steps. Quite a few eating options near by as well. Hotel service was above average, ranking on the higher end. We choose a family room which was nice and spacious enough. Free wifi, free mini fridge refill daily, free newspaper and a really nice breakfast buffet. Nicest touch was upon check out. We had to leave early for the airport so upon check out we had a breakfast bag waiting near the reception. In summary the Artemide is a good option for a central location in Rome with above average service and a good quality for price ratio. Definitely recommend.

I highly recommend this hotel. The service was outstanding and location was excellent for all the walking tours we took. We stayed 3 nights and ended our evening every night with a drink at the bar on the roof of the hotel. The view of St. Peter's Basilica was amazing. We truly enjoyed this trip and our stay at Hotel Artemide.
