“Well appointed hotel for Rome vacation”
Reviewed 25 May 2014

We stayed here middle of May for our anniversary trip. As everyone describes the hotel goes above and beyond. It was easy access to all the Rome sites and the subway station is only a block and a half walk from the hotel. Room very nice and comfortable. Sebastian and Palo were very nice and helpful.

Couple of highlights.
1. Breakfast- Certainly enough to start the day. Eggs, bacon, fruit, cheese, and pastries. Coffee and espresso from the servers. My only negative is they do have daily specialty items however we were not always offered them by the servers when they were offered to other tables around us (ex. homemade Ricotta, Strawberry cake, and benniets)

2. There was a card left by the bed (see picture). The bed was indeed to hard for us and upon inquiring at the desk they placed a pad on the bed and we slept much better. GREAT SERVICE!

3. Mini bar very well stock and a nice for a quick drink

4. Bathroom amenities very nice. (If you are in need of conditioner pack from home)

Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Chose the hotel after reading previous reviews. All accurate. Our room was lovely, newly refurbished. We were upgraded to a junior suite. Staff were all very helpful and their local knowledge, local restaurants etc, was useful. Hotel ideally located. Rooftop restaurant was romantic for our anniversary meal. The only negatives were the touch button for the lift as previously mentioned in an earlier review and our room door handle which was awkward to use. Breakfast was quite basic, given the high standard of the hotel however, it was fine for us.

Stayed in Rome to celebrate a 50th birthday and was recommended this hotel by friends. The location is superb and we walked to and from very major site, including the Vatican. The rooms are clean, well equipped, quiet and very comfortable. Every member of staff we came across was friendly and very helpful with nothing too much trouble. I would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to anyone visiting Rome.

We stayed at Hotel Artemide September of last year and went back this year with our children. Lovely hotel in a lovely location. 10 minute walk from fontana Trevi and Spagna, 15 min Colosseum walk. Rooms have been renovated from last year and are impeccably appointed -- Smart TVs, remodeled bathrooms, clean lines, modern yet very tasteful! In room bar is well-stocked and are complimentary! Welcome drinks at the Ambrosia rooftop restaurant with Emilio and Sali at the helm!

The staff are very warm and helpful, and they genuinely enjoy serving us and the rest of the guests. Buffet breakfast is superb, complemented with homemade salsiccia, ricotta, and bufala mozzarella. Will go back!

Room Tip: Get a street side room at the higher floors for a view of Via Nazionale.

This was a really memorable stay both for me and my husband. The hotel lives up to all it advertises but what makes it so memorable is the quality of the staff, from top to bottom they were unfailingly pleasant, kindly and helpful. You really did feel that nothing would be too much trouble for them, that was so refreshing. We are definitely returning and would happily recommend it to anyone else.

A friend recommended the Artemide. We stayed there for three nights in May - this was our third visit to Rome but by far the best hotel!
It is within walking distance of all the wonderful sites, including Vatican City and Termini station.
The front of the hotel was being restored but we were advised of this before our arrival and it did not affect our stay in any way.
We had very nice room on the sixth floor which had recently been decorated. It was spotlessly clean and very quiet. The tea and coffee making facilities were wonderful as was the minibar. We also enjoyed the welcome glass of prosecco on the roof terrace bar.
The staff were most helpful and friendly and the breakfasts were wonderful.
We will stay there next time!

Room Tip: We usually request a higher floor. Rooms to the front may have a better view but may be noisy due to...

What a lovely hotel in a perfect location.

We stayed 2 nights recently and we are hooked. The staff was very responsive to my requests prior to arrival and arranged for a pick up at another hotel near the airport. When the driver was late, a call to them quickly had the driver there.

Concierge constantly helped us with restaurant reservations and advice. He also hand wrote a note wishing my husband a happy birthday along with a bottle of champagne. Such a nice, friendly and knowledgeable man.

EVERYONE at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. And everyone spoke fluent English which was much appreciated..

Made our whole stay in Rome memorable.
