Just come back from a long weekend at the amazing artemide hotel. When we arrived at the airport we thought we would try and catch the direct train (leonardo express) to the termini station as the hotel is not located too far from there. It was so easy! And literally was only a 5-10 minute maximum walk to the hotel. It's location was perfect, walking distance to most of the main attractions, the only place we didn't walk to was the Vatican. When we got to the hotel the staff were so friendly, gave us a complimentary drink at their rooftop terrace bar, which had an amazing view of the Vatican in the distance. We also had a free mini bar which was refilled daily. The room was lovely, we actually wanted to stay longer. Overall great location, great staff, great bar and restaurant, great rooms and I assume their spa would have been great as well! A must when considering a holiday at Rome.

I am very picky about hotels I stay at on vacation. The Artemide Hotel is a true gem. All the rooms were recently renovated and modern. The entire hotel is extremely well kept and very clean. The location was perfect for our family trip to visit Rome. From the front door of the hotel you can easily walk to the Ancient City and Colosseum or the Pantheon and Navona Square. The Vatican is just a short taxi ride, and the main train station is a 10 minute walk. There are a number of excellent restaurants a few blocks in any direction. The deluxe rooms were spacious and we love that they can split a double bed into two twins. We traveled with our 3 teenage and young adult children and stayed four nights in August. The deluxe triple room was plenty big enough and comfortable enough for all three of our kids bed to have their own bed. The roof top bar and restaurant is lovely. A nice place to have a drink and cool off after a day of touring the city. Breakfast service was very attentive, the coffee excellent, but the food is very basic. The bonus was the 50% discount per room for staying 3 nights or more in August. We definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again without question.

It's the little things that matter for family travelers. Great attitude by the staff. We were early and so they took our luggage, offered us breakfast and advised on what to see in the morning. The mini bar is stocked well and is complimentary. They gave us welcome drinks on the top floor restaurant. Everyone there, from the breakfast staff, front desk to the top floor bar/restaurant seemed to like helping people. Made our Rome trip a pleasant experience. Too bad I can't say the same for our hotel choice in Florence and Venice.

Room Tip: Not much a view hotel; not sure how many hotels in Rome are though so just enjoy the service and for...

My Husband and I stayed here in August 2014 for 3 nights in Rome and chose this hotel because of the many positive reviews. I have to say the hotel met and far exceeded our expectations! From the minute we arrived, the bell hops helped us to get our luggage and figure out where to park our rental car. The staff in the hotel lobby were very friendly and immediately greeted us and informed us at check in that we were given an upgrade to a junior suite! The room was a very nice size and very clean with modern lighting and the nicest and largest bathroom in all the hotels we stayed in in Italy. The room was very comfortable and quiet for a good nights sleep! The hotel also has free Wi-Fi and USB ports to charge your phones which is a definite plus! The staff helped us to arrange our tours in Rome and went above and beyond to find out the rules for taking bags and cameras to some of the tourist attractions. The breakfast buffet was very nice and the staff told us to enjoy and take our time eating and they came to get us when our tour transportation arrived! We were also treated to 2 complimentary glasses of Prosecco at the rooftop terrace! Would definitely stay here again!

My daughter and I recently stayed at the Artemide Hotel for a night prior to a cruise. We had arranged for a pick-up at the airport through the hotel. Our flight was delayed by five hours and going through Immigration took another hour and a half and our driver was waiting for us! When we arrived at the hotel, everyone was very pleasant and accommodating. The rooms were clean, nicely appointed, and the refreshments were great. The hotel is perfectly situated and my daughter and I walked to many of the famous venues.
On the second day of our cruise, my daughter realized that she had left a garment bag with several dresses in the closet of the room she stayed in. I called the hotel from the ship and spoke to Maria who checked and reported that they had the garment bag of dresses! After a few emails, Maria notified me that the dresses were being sent to my home in the States. I offered to pay for the shipping, but she assured me that the hotel would take care of the charges. Within one day of our return home, the dresses arrived at my house! I cannot thank the hotel and especially Maria for everything that she did to take care of this matter. I would definitely recommend the Hotel Artemide for a fantastic Roman experience!

Room Tip: The rooms we stayed in were on the first floor and we had no complaints.

My family and I stayed in the suite for 4 people which consisted of a double bed in one area and a very comfy sofa bed which had been made up for us on arrival. Huge bathroom, complimentary slippers, fluffy robe, mini fridge stocked with soft drinks (replenished daily free of charge) and very friendly staff. Breakfast was buffet style with a wide selection of drinks and food to keep you going for a busy day sightseeing. Complimentary drink from the rooftop bar (amazing views over the rooftops of Rome) - the rooftop restaurant was also amazing! Location ideal, on Via Nazionale literally 10-15 minutes from the Colosseum and just down from Termini station. The hotel also arranged for transfer from the airport (this was a little more expensive that a taxi however was very much welcomed as a hassle-free way of getting to and from Rome).
I cannot praise this hotel enough - the staff were very informative, gave maps of Rome out & also provided additional pillows upon request. Nothing was to much for them, thank you for making our trip to your beautiful city so amazing.

Room Tip: ALthough right on Via Nazionale, i wouldnt say it was particularly noisey but you may want to ask fo...
