My wife and I stayed at Artemide Hotel for 6 nights in February 2010. The hotel is within a 10 -15 minute walk from Termini, and about a 5 minute walk from the Republica metro station, so it was easy to get around. The room was comfortable, clean and a reasonable size (even by American standards). The included breakfast was great and we were able to eat enough to keep us going until mid-afternoon. The cappuccino was excellent, and I miss that I can't get coffee like that back home.... The hotel staff was helpful, and our minibar (which is included free of charge) was refilled every day. Free wifi was also included (although I have seen several reviews that said that there was a charge for wifi, and the hotel's website isn't very clear on the topic either...). It was nice to be able to look up restaurants in the area before going out, so I would recommend bringing your laptop with you for this purpose. This was our first trip to Rome, and it is a must see for anyone who has not had a chance to visit yet.

My family stayed here for 5 nights (2 rooms) in March and enjoyed it immensely. They don't nickel and dime you -- the minibar was free as was the wifi (although the wifi did not work with my ipod touch, for some reason. We paid 12 euros for unlimited internet service in the business center for the length of our stay -- very reasonable. I don't understand why more hotels don't adopt this policy. Breakfast was excellent -- a lot of variety (though the scrambled eggs were runny...).

While the location was convenient to pretty much all that Rome has to offer, the via Nationale is a bit like staying on Lexington Avenue in New York (and that's not a compliment). Not too many great restaurants in the area, and it wasn't conducive to strolling (though it was perfectly safe). But our rooms were in the back and were very quiet

Great people working there. All in all, an excellent stay.

We booked the "No Frills" room because the price was so low, but upon arrival were upgraded to a normal double room. The room was wonderful, large with lots of storage space, free minibar and coffee/tea and snacks, desk, flat screen TV, and a large bed. The bathroom was very nice with a full sized tub, very clean and in excellent condition. The staff at the front desk helped us almost daily with different questions. We booked a car to take us to the airport at 4:30 in the morning, and it arrived on time and it made the trip so easy - much easier and more trustworthy than a taxi. The room was incredibly quiet and once you shut the black out curtains, very dark also so it was easy to sleep. We walked to everything - even the Vatican and Trastevere! I very highly recommend this hotel!

The Hotel Artemide was in a great location, had beautiful amenities and a very helpful and knowledgeable staff. After reading many reviews on Trip Advisor, we decided to make a reservation to stay here. We will recommend this hotel to family and friends who visit Rome in the future.

My wife and I spent three nights at Artemide Hotel. We checked in at midnight and were quickly received and welcomed. The room was larger than we expected, clean and very well appointed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly return. The hotel is very close to Termini Station, and within easy walking distance of many of Rome's famous attractions.

my partner and i stayed at the Artemide hotel for 4 nights from the 19h March. We have been to Rome a few times now, and stayed at the Artemide in 2008 when we were last there. We decided to go back to the same hotel because it was perfect for us, and im pleased to say, still is. The location is quite central and all the tourist spots are within walking distance. the furthest point, being the Vatican, which was about half an hour walk, but you could always get the metro. we emailed the hotel before our stay, and asked to have the same room as last time, for a bit of nostalgia. We were very pleased that they granted our request, we had a double superior room on the fourth floor, and it was lovely, the room is very large and the bathroom was wonderful with free robes, and slippers and lots of little toiletries. The free mini bar is handy so you can take some water out with you whilst you are sightseeing in the day, and the beer is nice to stand out on the balcony with, whilst you watch the hustle and bustle going on below. The staff are all wonderful, very helpful, professional and friendly. Their english is much better than my italian, so that really helped. The breakfast is fabulous and really sets you up for the day, you can have anything, fruit, croissants, pastries, egg and bacon etc. we had an absolutely amazing time, and really didnt want to come home. Next time we are in rome, we will DEFINATELY be going back to the Artimede. You will not be disappointed with this hotel!

We stayed at Artemide Hotel and it was a fabulous experience. Tremendous service, great location (walking distance to Trevi, Pantheon) and exceptionally clean, comfortable rooms. Buffet breakfast was best we had in Italy and free minibar items was an unexpected treat. I would definitely stay there again on my next trip to Rome.
