“Impressive Hotel and Great Location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 July 2010

We stayed 4 nights for my wifes 50th birthday and we were hoping for something memorable, we were not disappointed.
We arranged for a pickup from the airport, the driver was there as arranged, the return transfer was far cheaper than any found on the internet.
The hotel was very clean, room was spacious and aircon was fantastic, a sanctuary from the searing heat., breakfast was great and the free minibar a bonus.
The location is fantastic, we prebooked trips and found found that all pickup points were either 10 minutes walking distance or only a short trip on the metro.
If a go to Rome again I would definately use this hotel again the staff were fantastic.

One of the best experiences of my life and we loved every second of our stay at the hotel. The staff were lovely and so helpful, the breakfast delicious, the room was stunning and the location perfect. It made my trip to Rome very memorable.

As it was my 30th birthday celebration with my husband, the hotel even sent up complimentary strawberries and sparkling wine.

We will definetely be back and recommend to familes and friends!

This hotel is very centrally located being within easy walking distance of Termini Centrale and most of the 'must see' tourist spots and great for shopping. It is very comfortable with spacious rooms and spotlessly clean. It is the only hotel of the many in which we have stayed in Italy with tea/coffee-making facilities and complimentary minibar and the breakfast was excellent. We found all the staff to be extremely pleasant and helpful.

Hotel staff was very friendly. We reserved two rooms and arrived at the hotel at 10am. While they were fully booked, they were able to give us one room right away. Our second room was ready in an hour and was next door to the first room. The rooftop restaurant and bar were great. Morning breakfast (included) was very good. The hotel had a good location close to the train station and attractions. Good value for the price.

I found the Artemide hotel through Trip Advisor and made my reservation based on the reviews. My wife and two teenagers (18 & 16) were not disappointed. The service at the front desk, the kitchen crew, the hotel valets, and the maids were exceedingly responsive and friendly. Our sleep was undisturbed and quiet. The free wireless service was great, and the cheap use of the computer room made a huge difference for our internet-loving teens. The front desk booked several excursions for us that left quite early, and without asking they dropped off four bagged breakfasts/drinks that we brought on tour. The free bottled water, Coke, coffee, and snacks in the room saved us huge $$$ as we walked around the sweltering downtown area (most attractions are within 15-20 minute walk). The restaurant on the roof served great food and had a wonderful ambiance (and friendly waiters). The breakfast buffet was delicious and varied. What didn't we like? My room key went on the fritz a few times, and the shower had one of those glass partitions which really doesn't keep water off the floor. Also, I used the gym (very small) and it was much too hot. All in all, it's an elegant hotel with a beautiful interior and outstanding service.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly.

The hotel is centrally located and is in walking distance to almost all of Rome.

The rooms were clean and very quiet.

The only downside to this hotel is that the wifi signal in the rooms is very weak to non-existent. However, the signal in the lobby is strong.

Overall, an excellent hotel.

My mum and I stayed here for 4 nights in June and was really pleasantly suprised by everything the Hotel Artimide had to offer.
Great location, 10 minutes walk from Termini and central enough to walk to lots of major sites kept travel costs down and depsite being on a really busy street, our room was so quiet we weren't disturbed at all.
The free minibar was a great touch and we we even upgraded to have our own terrace!
The room was lovely, modern, clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet had everything you could want.
Staff so courteous and helpful also.

Really enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend - if we ever return to Rome (coins were thrown in the fountain!) we'll be staying here again!
