The hotel is in a very good location near the Spanish Steps. The double room was small but OK. Hair dryer outdated. Great shower but difficult to use. Free breakfast was very good each of the four days we stayed there. Our trip was delayed 2 days due to Delta and the hotel would not credit the two nights even though I called them and my son was staying in a single room. Finally they gave me 20% off the two nights I had to eat. One person on the desk was not friendly nor very helpful. Also their restaurant recommendation nearby was over priced and lacked customers. Food in Rome was disappointing compared to Florence and Venice. Over all would check out another hotel next time.

Room Tip: Single rooms are like closets very small.

This smaller boutique hotel was recommended to us by others that had stayed there.

We felt it offered very good value for money and the facilities, whilst older style and more conservative, it suited our needs. The breakfast is fantastic compared to others in Rome but the standout is the staff who were helpful, courteous and always aiming to please

It is a good location, the back streets close to Spanish Steps and Villa Borghese . It is a classy part of the city and we felt very safe walking around at night. We managed to easily negotiate the electric bus system with stops nearby as well as trains, but taxi fares were still relatively cheap from the area to the main tourist sites.

We will definitely stay there again.

After having read previous reviews,we were expecting excellent, warm service. I wouldn't say we got that - the service was good but perfunctory. Certainly not warm and welcoming. In terms of location, it was good - five minutes from Spanish Steps and not far from other major sights. Underground is two minute walk and from there, four stops to The Vatican so very easy to use. The rooms are very clean and we had a junior suite which was very big but it is very very dated and could do with a major refurbishment. Also, we were charged 60 euros to leave our luggage in a single room during the day and then come back and get a shower before going to the airport - a definite must if you are in the sweltering heat of Rome all day. We thought this was a bit too expensive given that the room wasn't cheap in the first place. All in, a good experience but not excellent.

Room Tip: Phone to get room with terrace

My friend and I stayed here 2 nights and were not thrilled, but it is a perfectly okay hotel. But we tried to go cheap and wound up with a "basement" room with windows opening up below ground - or seemingly below ground. I really did not want to look closely and kept windows closed as much as possible. Avoid the ground floor. Breakfast attendants were almost surly. Desk staff tried to be accommodating, but could not understand my request for an Internet Cafe (no computers available to guests). But the bellman understood and I got there (very close to hotel)! Bellman was great - best staff by far. Would try another hotel next time.

Room Tip: Do not get a room on the ground floor.

The hotel is located on a quiet street just off the Via Veneto and is lovely inside and out. The reception desk staff members are friendly and very helpful, and will arrange airport/ship transfers and Rome tours upon request. Our rooms and our friends’ rooms were clean, well furnished and comfortable. The A/C was very effective in Rome’s heat and humidity. The breakfast provided, consisting of a large array of hot and cold items, is easily as fine a breakfast as can be found in Rome. I believe you will be as delighted with your stay as we were.
