We arrived late afternoon in Rome feeling very tired but we were so close to some of the major sights that we couldn't help but explore the city. And I fell in love! The hotel also offered a beautiful sitting area, free wi fi, bar service and the most sumptuous breakfast I've seen in a while. While the room was older style it was large and very clean. I will definitely stay here again

We are a family of four and fortunately we travel a lot....this year we have been to italy, turkey, greece, france, argentina and china.....
We went in easter as a family trip to rome....this hotel is excellent for the price you pay.
Its not a 5 star hotel....and perhaps the decoration in the room is not tasty....but is an excellent hotel, very clean and with a supperb breakfast!Really excellent breakfast.
The hotel staff is always ready to help, very polite.
The location is good...
I will really recomend this hotel

Very beautiful hotel and amazing service... great breakfast... overall, a very good value for Rome. Subway is close although we mostly walked.

Was one of Frommer's Best moderate price hotel. they deserve it!

You will be treated like royalty... with slippers by your bed... looks and feels very high end.

My wife, adult son and I stayed at this wonderful hotel for a total of 5 nights before and after visiting Positano on the Amalfi Coast. What a special place! Vincenza and his colleague concierges were incredibly helpful! No matter what we asked them, they went out of their way to ensure we received the help we were in need of. The breakfasts are another major feature of this hotel. We have never seen such a broad offerring and it was all of high quality. The rooms were of very high quality, as is the lobby and adjoining lounge area. It is well situated so you can walk to many key areas of Rome.

The hotel is in a very good location near the Spanish Steps. The double room was small but OK. Hair dryer outdated. Great shower but difficult to use. Free breakfast was very good each of the four days we stayed there. Our trip was delayed 2 days due to Delta and the hotel would not credit the two nights even though I called them and my son was staying in a single room. Finally they gave me 20% off the two nights I had to eat. One person on the desk was not friendly nor very helpful. Also their restaurant recommendation nearby was over priced and lacked customers. Food in Rome was disappointing compared to Florence and Venice. Over all would check out another hotel next time.

Room Tip: Single rooms are like closets very small.

This smaller boutique hotel was recommended to us by others that had stayed there.

We felt it offered very good value for money and the facilities, whilst older style and more conservative, it suited our needs. The breakfast is fantastic compared to others in Rome but the standout is the staff who were helpful, courteous and always aiming to please

It is a good location, the back streets close to Spanish Steps and Villa Borghese . It is a classy part of the city and we felt very safe walking around at night. We managed to easily negotiate the electric bus system with stops nearby as well as trains, but taxi fares were still relatively cheap from the area to the main tourist sites.

We will definitely stay there again.

After having read previous reviews,we were expecting excellent, warm service. I wouldn't say we got that - the service was good but perfunctory. Certainly not warm and welcoming. In terms of location, it was good - five minutes from Spanish Steps and not far from other major sights. Underground is two minute walk and from there, four stops to The Vatican so very easy to use. The rooms are very clean and we had a junior suite which was very big but it is very very dated and could do with a major refurbishment. Also, we were charged 60 euros to leave our luggage in a single room during the day and then come back and get a shower before going to the airport - a definite must if you are in the sweltering heat of Rome all day. We thought this was a bit too expensive given that the room wasn't cheap in the first place. All in, a good experience but not excellent.

Room Tip: Phone to get room with terrace
