We spent 4 nights in this lovely city hotel .Close enough to walk to the trevi fountain and transport links but quiet at night .Great buffet breakfast but ensure you ask for a hot pot of coffee as the usual appears to have been sat waiting for a while to be served.staff are attentive and helpful .
One word of caution if you are of larger build the en -suite shower doors are so tight you might struggle to get in .Ask before you take room.

Room Tip: Shower doors very narrow if you are of bigger build ! Check on arrival

I spent 4 days in Rome.
I came early in the morning, and the manager let me have beakfast in the first day, instead of the last one. The room was perfect - clean, quite, excellent wi-fi, everything you need for good vacation. The stuff were very helpfull with every question.
I would return without hesitation and recommend to all

My husband and I spent 3 nights pre cruise at the hotel oxford.when we were shown to our room I was initially disappointed as the room was very tiny and we had substantial luggage for our upcoming cruise.having two quite large and two small cases meant that careful negotiations around our luggage was required
.however the room was spotless and the bed very comfortable.the staff are this hotels greatest asset.they are very welcoming and friendly ,nothing. is too much trouble.the breakfast buffet was excellent and the coffee superb
The location is very good, especially for those who enjoy walking.we do,and we were able to walk to and from all the main attractions. in particular, the trevi fountainwhich is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel..for those less energetic, the bus and metro are very convenient.
initially i was going to award the hotel oxford four stars because of the very small room, but on reflection, the quality and service at this lovely hotel more than compensated for the lack of space and i would return without hesitation and recommend to all

Room Tip: ask for one of the larger bedrooms

A great hotel, very comfortable and feels quite homely. Clean bedrooms and very comfortable beds and bathroom facilities. The staff are very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Metro and bus terminal is within walking distance which is ideal for the main attractions. Lots of good restaurants to choose from.

Lovely and clean with good facilities and very friendly staff. Excursions can be booked at reception and you can be picked up and returned to the hotel. Continental or English breakfast, good evening meals and the staff will give a box meal if you're out on a trip.

My family and I stayed in this hotel for 7 nights in late April. We were immediately checked in and our bags were taken to our family room on the 3rd floor. While the room was small, this was somewhat expected and did not cause any problems. We were happy with the kids having their own bed. The housekeeping service was done every day and most days there was a mint waiting for us when we got back. One of the only negatives I had regarding this hotel is the necessity to charge food and drink at the restaurant to the hotel room. This was inconvenient for me based on how I budgeted my trip, so for the most part this was a personal gripe that may not be a problem for most guests. My wife and I loved the neighborhood and really enjoyed walking down some of the side streets to explore and find places to eat. If I am ever fortunate enough to stay in Rome again, I would definitely stay at this hotel and I would also recommend this hotel to friends that may be travelling to Rome.

Just returned from a visit over Easter. Hotel Oxford is a good 3* base for seeing Rome. Excellent staff - very friendly and helpful. Good location in a nice area, but close enough to walk into the main part of the city. Quiet at night and some restaurants nearby, particularly 'Il Sorriso' on Via Flavia.

Overall, the hotel was very clean, comfortable and good value for money. We were travelling as a family of 4, with two teenage children, so the rooms in the nearby apartments were the best option

Room Tip: If you are travelling as a family with older children, then the rooms in the nearby apartments are t...
