We stayed at this hotel for two nights, whilst touring around Italy.
The hotel is not the best looking from the outside, but the communal areas inside are very nice and have a 4 star feel, however the same could not be said for our room, which was quite small, dated and tired. The fittings in the bathroom were old and it was in need of refurbishment, and the staff forgot to leave towels for us on day 2.
Breakfast was good with a varied choice, and the courtyard leading off the bar was a nice place to relax before heading out for the evening.
The front desk staff were very helpful, supplying us with maps and advice, and arranging our taxi when it was time to head to the train station.
The hotel is in a good location, with the main attractions within walking distance, the furthest we walked was to the Colosseum which would take about 45 mins if walking directly to it. Piazza Navona is about a 10 min walk, and is great fun on an evening.
If staying in Rome again, I wouldn't rule out this hotel, but the rooms really do let it down.More
