What a fabulous Hotel
Review of Hotel Cortina
5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 29 Apr 2019
As a family of 4 we stayed here over the weekend of 26th - 28th April 2019. A fantastic base within walking distance of all attractions (including the Vatican) and I am not sure we could have done better. Clean, tidy, warm and welcoming and the staff simply could not do enough to make our stay a pleasurable one! From the delicious continental breakfast to excellent advice on where and when to go (and buy tickets) ensured our stay in Rome was absolutely fantastic. Well done Hotel Cortina and thank you for having us.

Stayed here for 5 nights, it is situated in walking distance of most relevant sights and easy to get to. The rooms was nice, clean, comfortable and cozy. The staff was very welcoming and service minded. All in all a great hotel and I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at the hotel from 3/4/2019 to 10/4/2019, everything is great in the hotel, all the staff are very friendly, the breakfast is excellent, the hotel is clean and close to most of the attractions and almost a 7 minute walk to Termini station.
If I had the chance to visit Rome again I would choose this hotel only .

We stayed there from 12-15 Feb 2019. When we arrived, we were greet by Gianni, he is so friendly-warm-and helpful. He explained to us about Rome and helped us with the luggage too when he sent us to our apartment. He explained to us how to operate the equipment inside the apartment too. I mentioned this, because I don’t get such treatment for a long time even in 5-stars hotel. To me, this is service not so much about tip nor procedure. I can tell Gianni has integrity in the job he is doing, his gesture provides the service so naturally. This is the standard that has been abandoned by so many people who work in service line.
The apartment is very neat and tidy, I attached some pictures.. I love how they arrange the room and I really like the small balcony attached to our room. As a lovely gesture, they left a sweet message wishing us for great honeymoon and bottle of champagne too. Upon checkout, we met Gianni again, he helped us with the taxi and again carrying our luggage too. We found new friend in Rome. Immediately I asked about 2 bedrooms apartment - we know we got place in Rome whenever we’re back there. Be it us or with other family members. We love you Gianni and Hotel Cortina xxx Miranda & Andreas

The location is fantastic. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. We stayed with our children in a quadruple bedroom and it was enough to be warm and relaxed after visiting the city centre. I don't usually sleep well at hotels but this one was really good for me.

For me, this place is all about the friendly service and the fantastic location within walking distance of the major attractions and also walking distance from the main train station.
The hotel and lobby are located on the second floor, which has stairs or one can ride in what is probably the oldest elevator I have ever been in.
We arrived on Christmas eve and the staff even booked us a dinner reservation on a notoriously difficult restaurant evening.
The rooms are a bit small but the beds we had were pretty comfy.
The breakfast was okay. Pretty typical with sliced meats, cheeses, cereal, espresso, breads and some sweets.
I would stay here again for sure just for the friendly and helpful staff.
