We spent 4 nights in this hotel in June with my husband. Our room was not small (around 20 sq meters) but I think that the rooms are all different, as many people say that the room was very small. The location is perfect, we have never taken a bus or taxi, except to go to Piazza di Spagna, that is 40-50 minutes walk. Vatican and Piazza navona is 15 minutes walk, Campo dei Fiori - 5 minutes. It is located on a small nice street in the old town. It is impossible to sleep with open windows as it is too noisy because of the cars and scooters but the air condition system was good.
The breakfasts are very simple, the same every day, and the breakfast room is very small (for 5 rooms max). The greatest dissapointment was the staff - they are really not friendly and helpful, we met only one madam that was nice, the others were uninterested. It is a pity that the staff and service are deteriorating the image of the nice hotel.
That is why my rating is "Average".

The rooms are very small. Even tough they are small, the air condicioning doesnt make a good job keeping it cool. The breakfast is bad. The staff doesnt care.

The wifi is very good tough, the beds are confortable and the small room is quite lovelly, and the location is the best.

But it is too expensive.

Hotel is perfectly located near Piazza Novana and walking distance to all major sights (Vatican City, Pantheon etc.). Rooms were clean and modern and staff was very helpful. Only downside was the hotel did not offer an iron for clothing.

My wife and I spent five nights here in early June. The location was great. A 15 minutes walk (I am over 70 so I walk slow) to the Vatican, approx. the same distance to the Piazza Navona. The Campo De Fiori was in our neighborhood. We walked in the area every evening and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The rooms were small but well decorated and the large windows made the room seem larger. The shower in the bathroom was particularly memorable, it was one of the complete cascade style, which was like standing under a water fall (see picture). The streets are small in this neighborhood, but our cab dropped us right at the front door and the driver placed our bags in the lobby. If you want a four lane highway in front of the hotel, this is not your place. The breakfast room was attractive, but small. The breakfast spread was unusual and my wife enjoyed it, I found it to be adequate.

This is not a hotel but a hostel. If you want your Rome trip to be memorable dont even think of booking this one.the standard rooms are pigeonholes and offers no service.after 9 in the evening you cant speak as you are reminded to keep quiet as others are sleeping.I am sure that the pigeons at St.marks square(venice) enjoy a better breakfast.we were booked at this hotel for 3 nights but left after 1 night. The room is not at all worth 200 euros. The website of the hotel gives a false impression.

Room Tip: the only advice to travellers is avoid this hotel at any cost.

What a nice, yet very little, place in a quiet alley (Via del Pellegrino). It feels very local with nice authentic Italian trattorias nearby. It’s a 3-star hotel because they don’t have a bar, restaurant, bell boy, etc. (which we don’t need). We took Bus 10 going to the Vatican - I think - from Termini and got off at Chiesa Nouva on Corso Vittorio Emanuele. About a 15 min ride. We walked a few feet to the hotel. Everything has a new look, very modern, nice color scheme. Tiny rooms but the vaulted ceilings help a lot and it gives it an open feeling. Incredible shower. The windows open and it makes it very nice. We loved the free wi-fi. Breakfast is OK. Again if you can afford it, you will enjoy the location and sleep in a new, smell-free place. If you are planning on traveling to/from Termini and taking the metro, this might not be the best place. Front desk people are nothing special but respectful. We arrived at Ciampino where we took a 4EUR bus to Termini, we drove thru the city and it was very nice to see how Romans live. We bought our Roma city pass there and the little airport had everything we needed without the busyness of Fiumicino.

Great renovations with nice style. Really liked the decor. It was really nice having breakfast provided, but the staff's personality was severely lacking. They weren't rude, but always quite aloof and disinterested when interacting with them. The males almost acted as if you were bothering them. One night, I waited 15 minutes for a male staffer to get off the phone, as I needed assistance. I came and stood by him several times and mouthed that I needed help and he just ignored me and laughed and chatted. The only exception was Ana, who pointed out maps and offered her assistance with any needs. She was the only one to do so.

It's really too bad they don't have better staff (The women were fine. The men....meh.) because it's a cute hotel on a quiet side street. I'd give pluses across the board if the staff was nicer or at least a little helpful. The hotel is just off a main street in a great location for 10 minute walks to a LOT of the main sites. It also is 5 minutes walk fro two Piazzas which are filled with restaurants.
